Only on the internet mi amigos. There were no intrawebz for mentally ill basement dwellers to run amok on during the height of Tyson's reign. So it's an unfair comparison.
Good point.
Back in those days, you actually had no choice but to interact with the morons in person.
This day and age, you don't have to endure their presence.
as it stands, pacs fotd is worth more than floyds 0. Thats only because pacs resume is better than floyds.
You can't generalize and put too much value into either of these. A fighter with an unbeaten record could be complete ****. It all depends who hes beaten.
beating the man, that beat the man, is a BIG deal homie... lineal champ MEANS something. its a DEFINITIVE way to determine a champion. also, knocking out your opponents is quite definitive as well. since winning by decision doesnt necessarily reflect the TRUTH. boxing is littered with HORRIBLE decisions.
youre clouded by the undefeated record.... you claim his record is fact.... yet his record lies to you. he LOST to castillo the first time. the judges' OPINION scored the fight for floyd.
so by your logic, lara LOST to p-will.... FACT is that lara lost to p-will right???? even though MOST people had lara winning that one.
linealship has been broken so many times so it's not really "the man who beat the man" anymore, if a new weight class is added or after a fighter retires or moves up or dies whats the official criteria for crowning a new lineal champ? some people thought Margarito vs Mosley 1 vs 2 was for the lineal others didn't some people thought Hatton wasn't the lineal champ after he moved to 147 and lost others did.
and yes Lara did lose to Williams that's a fact unless the Athletic commission changes the official results. controversial scoring happens just like controversial knocks out happens
I know and its pointless to try to get them to see it. Both sides are just 2 pieces of the same puzzle.
These 2 fan bases might be the worst fan base since the Tyson days.
The fan boys from both sides, don't understand that.

lineal champ is not a fact or official it been broken so many times and different people see it a different way.
being undefeated is a fact and official being the FOTD and P4P king and the hero of Asia is all opinions
So fighting bum is the fact LOL.

4 time lineal champ in 4 divisions. case closed. those are facts.
undefeated records dont hold the same weight as they did in the past... calzaghe, JCC jr, floyd, etc.... undefeated.... big whoop. in the era of padded records, protected fighters, overpaid prospects, not a big accomplishment.... plus, floyd will ALWAYS have the reputation of cherrypicking to remain undefeated (also convenient "retirements").... like pac will have the reputation of catchweights & in-house mismatches.... BOTH were phenomenal in the lighter weights though.
either way, i would rank b-hop over BOTH guys anyway....

You could have just asked: 'Are you a Flomo or a Pactard?'
The greater achievement is not being a Pac nuthugger.
On a serious level I think this is a biased question in favour of Manny. It would be wiser to compare opponents etc. We can't say yet! Also Pac doesn't deserve fighter of the decade...
its not biased at all... quality of opponents is quite comparable... people can sh1t on floyds choices @ WW, but floyd was a beast @ 130-135.... and people criticize pac for selling out lately, but you cant forget mexicutioner status he had....
U can't nothing from both of them but if I had to choose I would be proud to be a 8 division world champ more than being undefeated.
8 division = bogus "achievement"
they paid for that accolade
