I think he should fight Molina, because he just beat Cintron and there is a bit of hype on him, plus it wont be too hard of a fight. If he beats him which i assume he will, and if he does it impressively he should challenge Angulo, Alvarez, Cotto. Chances are he wont get a fight with one of them, so then challenge guys like Vanes, K9, Dzinzarnik (however its spelled).
I still think Paul Williams can be good, maybe his last fight will open his eyes and he can add just a little bit of defense mostly to defend that left hand. Also you gotta keep in mind, he was out of the ring for almost 8 months since he was knocked out and that was only a round and a half fight, then 6 months before that he only fought 3 and half rounds with Cintron, so talk about ring rust, since his last real fight (before Lara) it was almost 2 years and he only fought about 4-5 rounds.
If he works a bit on defense, and beats Molina then fights Vanes or K9 etc. im sure he will win. After those 2 fights hes back in the mix, and if he should go after Cotto, or Alvarez and if cant get them but has looked good he would be ok to have a martinez rematch.
Thoughts?
I need to see him in with a right hander before I know for sure that he's completely shot. What the Lara fight proved is that he really is never going to beat another competent southpaw again, but he did prove his chin and will to fight are still very good. As much as I hate to see my favorite fighter duck a guy he shouldn't rematch Lara unless he plans on firing Petterson and making big stylistic changes. If this is how he's going to fight and he isn't changing then either fight only right handers or retire.
I agree completely

he needs to smoke some good weed and chill out
I doubt he has any brain cells left to smoke weed after taking all those shots to the head. Dude is going to be stuttering like Ali and twitching like Roach in 2-3 years if he keeps this up.
He will be one of those dudes smoking crack talking about the good old days when he is 40 Stuttering and Slurring.
Williams' prime is behind him. And to make things worse everyone has the blue print to take him out (as long as the judges arent as bent as a £2 note). He will struggle against any southpaw in the division, he is just too easy to hit.
Lara deserves his rematch.
i'm sorry bro but williams is completely shot
and without a trainer willing to teach him anything new he's nothing but a sitting duck for power punches
alfredo angulo would take his head off
that would be a horrible idea.
there's no way williams could get out of the way of that right hand
just bend over and take it like he always does
the guy has made a career out of taking punches and coming forward
when he falls off(which he has) he's off for good
sorry
celebrate his career by remembering him as he was
and enjoying his best fights
his best days are long gone, bro
long gone
Lara deserves the rematch.Because he kicked the Punishers a$$.That's the 1st thing that needs to happen. He better stop him too, because I'm pretty sure no matter how good he does he isn't getting the decision again.
