I'm writing an article to get exposure for boxers that have gave their bodies up for our entertainment, and was hopful to get some pointers from the forum's collective intelligence.
Who are some boxers that have been high-school-prom ditched by the sport they gave everything to, and are there any organizations you know of that are established to help these guys and girls out??
Thanks for helping out, friends.
the saddest story i've come across in boxing is joe louis
he was the most iconic and patriotic personality in the states during the second world war
and he finished his life bludgeoned with tax burdens. ****ing disgusting
he was also profoundly affected by his boxing career late in life physically.
I just read the Iran Barkley story, which was pretty quick, and it's criminal that these promotional companies can't figure something out after exploiting these guys.
Thanks for the feedback...makes me think about staying outside the ropes.
