Trust me it's not hard to be critical of Amir Khan, there are so many flaws in his game plan. You are right that the more interesting discussion is how it would of been at 140 but Cotto would still of beat him. Miguel took on some of the heaviest punchers at that game and always came out on top. Take for example Ricardo Torres. Torres was better than Maidana and Cotto got off the mat and beat the snot out of him in the end. I have major doubts that Khan would be able to beat a puncher like Torres simply because Torres is more accurate than Maidana. It's difficult to say imo. I'm not sure Cotto was quite the force at 140 because iirc he had trouble making the weight. I agree though, he is a better boxer than Khan.

The same cannot really be said of Khan--not yet. He is becoming battle tested, but he has not reached his prime yet and I think Cotto has experience and power enough to undo Khan at this stage of his career. Khan might beat him, but I would give the edge to Cotto at this point.
