Bob Arum told me HBO's 24/7 for Pacquiao-Marquez will replay on CNN. #boxing
CNN? :thinking:
Not exactly the target demographic for Boxing PPVs but more exposure never hurt I guess.

There were reports at first that was the case, but a week or 2 ago Bob said that it wasn't a package deal. If 24/7 won't do for Cotto-Margarito, I'm sure Fight Camp would love to profile that card.
Found it-
Ok, @ToddDuboef has said 'No decisions have been made' regarding HBO or Showtime on Pac-Marquez, also, no other fight is tied to that fight. Cotto-Margarito is it's own separate deal and so is the Salido-Lopez rematch.

Cool. Thanks. Cotto/Marg winner likely fights Martinez so HBO has a vested interest in the fight. Man if we get May/Pac and Cotto/Martinez in early 2012 that would be sweet.
Prince I think you are wrong on this. Didn't Arum say whoever got JMM/Pac would likely get Cotto/Marg?

Arum said that those fights are not a package deal, it's possible that Cotto-Margarito II will be on SHOW/CBS, which explains why they are stacking that card up (Donaire, Gamboa have been greenlit for the undercard so far). It would be great if they used the Fight Camp to showcase all of those guys, not just the main event. That's shaping up to be the card of the year so far, from top to bottom.

there is no way they can do a 24/7 for both manny/jmm and cotto/margarito.

Although I know it's impossible...I hope Arum stacks the undercard. Just look at the undercard of Floyd-Ortiz....that is good undercard fights!
there are rumors bradley is part of it...and rios i think will be fighting too.
@ToddDuboef
After reviewing spectacular offers from HBO/TW and SHO/CBS, congrats to HBO/TW for securing distribution for Nov 12#boxing

Because, these F'ing idiots think that Greenburg got fired because Pac had ONE fight on Showtime. They believe the reason Pac went to have that one forgettable waste of time fight on Showtime was because of Greenburg.
You gotta love the dickriders man...I don't know how they come up with this shit. :thinking:
Lol, that's truly laughable, don't know what else to say.
What's Greenburg missing from HBO Got to do with Paq fighting JMM on HBO PPV?

My only problem with big fights going to HBO is that their commentators like to analyze how the fight is going without always being fair to both fighters. Their production is as sharp as it gets and their pre-fight buildup is always on point, but during the fight they distract the public from the action with their often biased commentary. Too color commentary and not enough play-by-play.
