Pacquiao more accurate puncher than Mayweather

Some people seem to think Mayweather is the most accurate puncher but the truth of the matter is that Pacquiao is more accurate than Mayweather. Pacquiao throw more punches and is a combination puncher, both these things redcue accuracy. On top of this Pacquiao is a harder puncher and throws harder puncher, another thing that will effect accuracy. We also have to forget about the jab as the jab is use to open a defence and find range, so it can be used effectively even though it is not landing. Pacquiao also lands his punches right on the button, bang on the chin, Mayweather punches are more scoring punches. Pacquiao landed an astonishing 50% of his power punches against Mosley while Mayweather landed an impresiive 46%, still 4 % less than Pacquiao. And Mosley was in defensive mode when facing Pacquiao and Pacquiao was throwing more punches than Mayweather. Man, I was so sucked into this thread. I started to read all the pages then I realized it's been going since 2011. Either way, these statistics are very subjective. When you change the criteria of an analysis to fit your agenda then your analysis is bogus. But you're right. When it comes to accuracy Pacquiao leads Mayweather in one aspect. Pacquiao gets hit way more the Mayweather. You should start a thread about that. The ts is a known floyd hater who decided that jabs dont count. Dont take this thread seriously.

I made this thread, because, people seem to think Mayweather is some kind of sharpe shooter whilst Pacquiao just comes out swinging, missing a lot. This is far from the case, their accuracies on power punches are very similar, Pacquiao does have the advantage over the same opponents though. And despite given the facts, some people still refuse to accept it. And my point still stands over the other aspects that should reduce accuracy.

the entire idea behind this thread is stupid. for this "who has the better accuracy" argument to have any merit, you would first need the premise that compubox is a perfectly (or close to it) accurate measure of punches landed and missed. any fan of boxing can tell you this is not the case, and compubox is not completely accurate. compubox is a computer program. who enters these punch numbers into the program? someone watching the fight enters these numbers, hence human error enters the equation. with something as high paced as pacquiao's punches, do you think a human watching the fight LIVE (on normal speed) can accurately judge ALL of the MISSED and LANDED punches? if you think so, frankly you are quite dumb. mayweather's stats would be easier to track and thus his compubox numbers would likely be closer to the truth than pacquiao's, as he throws far fewer combinations. so you guys just spent 70 pages debating something that is not even a fully accurate tool in the first place, and many of you arguing over a few % difference between the two? retarded. /end thread Well prove your theory. Watch some Pacquiao and Floyd fights on slo-mo, count the punches landed and thrown and see the level of discrepancy between your numbers and the compubox numbers. I have done this for fights, and compubox is surprisingly accurate.
