Whats the first fight you remember watching?

I dont know how old I was but the first live fight was one of Tysons, I dont remember which, just that it was a 1st round KO and EVERYONE was pissed. Either Mike Tyson vs. Peter McNeeley or Mike Tyson vs. Bruce Seldon People were pissed because tons of people waited for Tyson and bought tons of PPV's and arena tickets and it was over too quick. Before that I only saw what they showed on the sport channels (KO clips, classic fights) nothing I remember too clearly. Tyson brought alot of fans to boxing

first fight :boxing:the very first fight i ever heard was on the radio , sonny liston and cassus clay, if i remember right clay beat sonny , listons shoulder was hurt and he couldnt continue, i believe that was around 63 or 64, sonny liston got into some trouble right after it was something about he was packing a 22 pistol and clay went on with his big mouth to concour the world.

I remember watching two fights around the same time, can't remember which came first. It was either a Fernando Vargas fight when he was coming up back in '97 or this Naseem Hamed fight where he body slammed his opponent to show him his power.

I wasn't a fan at the time - I was only 6 - but I'm pretty sure I watched the 2nd fight between Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield, a day or so after it took place. I became as casual fan in 2006 and a proper fan in 2007.

First I remember paying full attention to was Steve Collins Vs Chris Eubank. Before that though I had seen parts of British fights from the earlier 90's that the family would have on. I hated boxing though at that point :)

Which fight is the first fight you remember watching live on television? For me the one I remember clearly is Tyson vs. Douglas. Bowe-Holyfield. the parachute man. I won't forget that one.

Tyson-Botha and after the fight tyson saying how he was rusty and he turned to his trainer and said something like "right i was rusty" .... he was down on all the cards till he Knocked botha THE HELL OUT. My dad was picking Tyson to win the fight while his friends were wanting Botha to woop his ass lol

The fight that turned me on to boxing was Ciquita Gonzalles-Carbahal.I've seen fights before that,but that 1 specifically is what turned me unto the sport.
