This fight will shake Boxings foundations

Worst boxing decision of all time, although i am happy Paul williams won the fight because i have followed his career since day one.

Dont forget Lewis vs Evander 1. I actually lost money on that one. I actually have stopped betting on boxing because its to difficult to really win now. You have to calculate who you think will win and then calculate all the politics behind the judges. Agreed you can really know your boxing , but it still isn't enough

They love doing this sh*t to foreigners. Pac could beat the sh*t outta Floyd for 12 rounds but if the fights in Vegas and Al Haymon/Don King is involved he could lose a UD. Pac vs Floyd needs to happen in a neutral country.

This is one of, if not the biggest, blown decisions I've ever seen I always knew Boxing was full of corrupt politics, but I dare anyone to explain why Lara wasn't the winner this is normal in boxing, the status quo, a monthly occurrence, with hindsight it won't have registered a tremor.

When a guy wins every round besides one and loses on the cards, its one of the worst calls of all time. You cant become a judge and have no clue how to score at all. That just isnt how it works. So they were bought off. No other way around it. Bought and exposed for the whole world to see.

it seemed like the scorecards were filled out before the fight began, it's ridiculous. judges that score fights like these should be fined or suspended, fired or something! smh... i've been watching boxing since 1991 and i've never seen something so obviously corrupted as this.. some mention Casamayor Cruz, and DLH fights, I agree w/ those to an extent but for some reason this makes me angrier, maybe because I'm older and this is fresher in my memory nevertheless this is bizarre that it can happen in this day and age...

This post is perfect. In No Ceilings' thread I called robbery right before the decision. I've seen worse robberies.. Remember the Guzman/Funeka robbery last year or year before? It is what it is and this fight will not affect the foundations of boxing. This will be forgotten just like the previously mentioned fight and everybody will be over this by next week. And yet you run around wondering why people talk **** about boxing being bull****? When the sport has no credibility, it's foundations are being shaken. Consider yourself smarter now. Do you honestly believe Boxing in it's current state is nearly as popular as it was 20 years ago? It's got little to do with all of the belts/weight divisions.
