Why isn't anyone calling out Floyd or Manny for not fighting Sergio in their next fig

Because the argument is over and all parties have made their stance clear. Many vacated his title and isn't going back up to 154. Floyd only fought at 154 because Oscar wanted the advantage to make the fight. Floyd is a 147lb fighter and that's all there is to it. You want Floyd, you make 147. Sergio can't go below 154 apparently. That rules him out. Look: Floyd and Manny call the shots. They choose what weight class they fight in. It's not debatable; If someone wants a crack at the biggest names in boxing, they have to be able to make the weight for the fight. Sergio can't, so he doesn't get the shot. I'm a huge fan of Sergio, but we're talking apples and oranges here. WHy hasn't anybody called Martinez out for not moving up and fighting Ward,Froch,Dirrell,Johnson,Kessler,Bute,Hopkins,Dawson,Pascal? Because he's a 154 fighter who moved up to 160 a year ago. He's not a large middleweight. Why would he be expected to move up another weight class so soon? Just because all the big names at 154-160 are ducking him? :thinking:

Chavez, Cotto and Canelo are runnin from Martinez not the other way around!! Manny said he would fight Martinez, but at 147lbs. cause he knows Martinez won't go down that much in weight and Manny is scared to fight him at 154

Martinez would skip the Jr fight in a heartbeat if Floyd were willing to fight him. The Pacman train has long since passed and even Martinez has moved on from that. If you follow his twitter, he's always saying he's hoping for a fight against Floyd at 154 next year. One thing I wish is for reporters to ask Floyd's opinion on fighting Martinez at 154. Floyd vs Martinez is probably the most interesting fight there is after Pac vs Floyd. I don't understand why reporters never ask him about it. BOXING SCENE REPORTERS, GET ON IT. Martinez would tax Floyd's ass worse than the IRS would.

natural at his weight (170-175) Martinez stated on this twitter that he walks around at 169 and his strength and conditioning trainer said Martinez would only rehydrate 8-10 pounds max if the fight took place at 154 because he doesn't like draining himself before a fight.

Manny faught Margarito at 154 and Floyd is bigger than Manny so why can't either fight him at that weight I am certain he would take either fight he has called for both of them to fight. actually, there was a catchweight of 151 (i believe) for pac vs margarito...and pac didnt even make it, coming in at under 150...also, add to the fact that pacs fight nite weight is around 147-148, while martinez could be as high as 170-175... yah sure...margarito was about 160-165, but martinez is more of a natural at his weight (170-175) than was margarito was vs pac
