Say what you want about Ricky, but that guy went down fighting twice against the very best.
Haye didn't seem to have any desire last night. I forked out hard earned money and actually believed he had a chance of winning or at least he would lose bravely.
It's not that he lost, it's the manner in which he lost, and then the excuses really topped off an embarrassing night to be British.

what the hell are you talking about?
fighting like a novice amateur and getting stretched out like a bum is better than fighting a tactical fight and losing on points? what exactly does it mean to "lose bravely"? is it brave to disregard defense like a moron?
haye fought well and he did try to get wladimir out of there, wlad was just too skillful and smart. he stepped out of range at teh right time and haye couldnt get to him, so he swithed up his tactics and tried to set traps for wladimir and counter. but again wlad was too good, haye was trying to take him out for all 12 rounds though and in a professional manner. staying in there trying to find the right spot to explode rather than running in head first like a retard and getting put to sleep.
haye gave it a good try, he never stopped trying wad just shut him down offensively. too skillful and smart.
He didn't last long enough to fight like a bum. He got bulldozed. And he did try to make it a fight with PBF, he just got outboxed. Easier to appreciate those efforts than Haye's against Wlad.
Actually he fought like a bum against Pac, He got bulldozed because he fought like a bum, Bumrushing, Head-hunting, Insteading of feeling himself out in the first round or so, I didnt doubt that he put in a decent effort against Mayweather so i didnt mention that in my post, But against Pac he fought like a bum who was there for a payday cheque and that i find hard to appreciate than Haye who was giving away all physical advantages to Wlad..
Hatton made more excuses than anyone after getting KO twice, He fought like a bum against Pac, If thats someone going out on their shield then OK lol...

Two different styles of fighters.
Hatton never took a backward step so if he was outclassed (once) so it was always going to end in a KO. The alternative v Pacquiao is to get on your bike and run like Mosley and Cotto did after they were hurt, they would've been KO'd too if they kept coming forward. Running is just not Ricky's style, he is a toe to toe warrior.
The Mayweather fight was a ref-orchestrated sham, Ricky should've left the ring in the 6th round when it was confirmed what Cortez was up to.
The difference between Hatton and Haye (looking at last night's fight) is Ricky was prepared to take a risk even if it meant him getting KO'd, but you can't really blame Haye for not taking more risks against a much bigger and more powerful man.
Hatton lost against men of similar size or smaller than himself. Haye went the distance, and made the world HW champion look average, though in the process making himself look bad.
P4P Haye is far better than Hatton. If you shrunk Haye down to 140, he would KO him within 3 or 4 rounds.
Hatton got KTFO twice, Haye fought the distance.
If Haye got knocked out the same manner Hatton did people would ***** even more about how Haye is a talentless bum etc.
Dude got outclassed but at least he didn't get KO'ed in a brutal yet hilarious fashion :lol1:
