Larry is awesome no doubt. His line about change being great but you have to make it happen was spot on.

I like Larry because I don't take him or Lampley serious. They're fun to listen to sometimes and I think Lampley does a great job of moving the fight and dialogues along for the most part. Yesterday's performance by that crew sucked though. Just filled with so much hate. Both Haye and Wlad wrote checks that neither one of their performances cashed. Yet, it seemed like HBO put the onus on the guy that was 4" shorter and 30lbs lighter to deliver. They spent so much of the telecast talking about what Haye wasn't doing that you barely heard them talk about what Wlad WAS doing. The only assessment I can take away from the fight is that it's alot harder to take advantage of the visible weaknesses in Wlad's game once you're in there with him. Haye marked him up and rocked him in the 12th, so the performance wasn't a complete embarrassment as they verbalized. Haye just wasn't the man to capitalize on Wlad's flaws. 'Nuff said. If anything, the narrative of how Wlad looked supremely pedestrian against a guy looking for one shot, with a suspect chin, and was 4" and 30lb his junior needs to be getting more discussion. But, the victor writes the story, so kudos for the win, Wlad. I would just like to see Larry, and the rest of the boxing media, be a little more unbiased in their "calling" or "reporting" of a fight.

well haye was certainly talking like he was going to be bringing the heat to wladimir. . . i can guarantee you most of his brit fans got suckered into believing he was bringing the heat and coming with bad intentions. . neither of which he did. i agree with what you said, that's why you got alot of "haye is a coward" threads just a bunch of children that dont understand boxing or haye's style also if you watched carefully he did try to flurry and "bring the heat" as you say, but since day one, i've said many times, you can't do that against a giant of a man that holds on to you everytime you get into his range, use some common sense here people and personally i think he fought the perfect style, the better man just one

I enjoyed his interviews with both Haye and Klitschko. He is like a school teacher chatting with students. Kellerman should not touch another microphone as long as Larry is still breathing. school - teacher ? why should fighter give a flying eff about what some dinosaur who never laced up gloves in his life says ?

Merchant is not what he use to be, even during great fights he doesnt seem to be enjoying himself. Always has something negative to say, good or bad fight.
