like chop chop said, "floyd would try to to do the gameplan that nazim planned for shane", that is the only way i see floyd figfhting pac....the diffrence is , floyd aint got the punching power that shane had...i think floyd would be a bit more active but i dont think he'd throw more than shane coz we all know how floyd dont like to be hit meaning his punch output would be similar to shane......if floyd somehow trades with pac, he would'nt see the last round, guarateed....he needs run and potshot and hope for a decision, thats the only way floyd would win.....and there is a slim chance of him winning like that vs a voulme puncher like pac....

I guess I'm in the minority when I say that I don't think Floyd is going to be running at all when he fights Manny. I was looking at his fight against Judah who is also a southpaw and Floyd was actually going forward in that fight. From the 5th round on he would do lead rights, body shots and clinch quite a bit. Now of course Pac is way more active than Judah with way better footwork so I don't know if the same strategy will work. But since Judah was the last southpaw Floyd fought it's like the only research I can do at the moment. The Ortiz fight should tell us a bit more I think. Unless Floyd has lost a step I think he'll be going forward in that fight too.

Honestly, I have nothing against Pacquiao. He's coming off another long layoff and this time it's against someone who hits much harder than him and maybe bigger than him come fight night. Hell, Ortiz may come in with the luckiest of punches and one just may KO Floyd. Pacquiao is not going into survival mode regardless of what happens in the fight, so that is not a fair comparison. Even if it was all Floyd, he would have to KO Pacquiao to stop him from fighting and that would not make for a boring fight...
