From the get go Wlad was in there pushing in trying to land and ko Haye. Yet it was Haye himself who was afraid to engage and made a HORRIBLE performance. Yet, it is Wlad's fault and he sucks because of that? From just trying to avoid punches to falling to his knees at every clinch, it is Haye who should be ashamed of himself and owes an apology to everyone. At least I can appreciate the fact that Wlad at least tried and followed his opponent for 12 rounds.
Sh!t fight but it was in no way Wlad's fault
Wlad is under-appreciated, he makes his opponents look like bums. him and vitali have a crazy record and hold the highest and one of the highest KO% we ever seen from Heavyweights, and they are TRUE heavyweights, not blown up CW.
People say all these old time HW were so great but they had worse records with much lower ko % and also having tons of snoozers.
Whats even funnier is the Floyd fans calling Wlad boring when he has 8 KO in last 10 fights while Manny and Floyd have 8 KO's in their last 10 fights COMBINED
I honestly had high hopes for this fight. I thought of Haye as a real test and a dangerous opponent. I want to see Wlad in there and get tested but this guy after all that smack that he talked, should just go to some Pacific Island and stay there for some months. Then to use the TOE as an excuse... :nonono:
Haye fought like a coward, flopping to the canvas every time he clinched with Wlad, until the ref had enough and gave him a count. Also, Gayevid would look at the ref for help after a perfectly legal punch from Wladimir throught the fight. Not to mention several rabbit punches after the bell.
Agreed. reminded me somewhat of the Vova-Ibragimov, Vitya-Kevin Johnson, Pacquiao-Mosley fights. If the other guy is essentially just there to finish the fight and doesn't want to engage there isn't a whole lot you can do.
