The two most noticable things for me when looking at Klychko in this fight was his defense and athleticism. He had to be constantly stalking and cutting off the ring and really showed how quick and athletic he is, he also blocked an awful lot of Haye's attempted power shots. Especially the left hook, i don't think Haye landed a single left hook all night in spite of throwing it quite a bit.
wlad could've knocked him out so he gets nothing from me. haye needed to land that left hook on his crappy chin
Not that you noticed i'm sure.
Haye was very ready, which is why Wladimir deserves all the more respect. Manny Steward saw what Haye was bringing (movement, stealing the rounds by ambush, dropping to the floor to prevent holding), and thats why he flipped out in the early rounds and kept telling Wlad to pick it up. He knew if Wlad kept bringing the pressure, at least some of his punches would get through. Meanwhile, Haye would spend all night dodging instead of punching.
I am thoroughly impressed with how Wlad handled fighting a very different kind of fight against a fighter much more prepared and in-shape than any of his opponents in years. Manny Steward likes to use the expressions "He did everything right, fought the perfect fight."
It really applies to how Wlad handled what Haye brought to the table. There isn't a fighter on the planet that can defeat Wladimir. :headbang:

again, agreed
Despite of me obviously enjoying seeing Wlad humble a bit twat and c*nt like Haye, your post is spot on - green k
BUT, you have to admit, Haye fought scared and was disgraceful in his fake flopping around and looking at the ref a lot after Wlad would throw a perfectly legal punch, no to mention a coupl of rabbit punches after the bell... but what can you expect from a first class twat like Haye?

The one with the worst bias is you.
You are very biased against Wlad.
You've been one of the worst haters of the UK boxer Calzaghe, yet you are a big supporter of Haye.
And we ALL know the reason WHY, Burner! :nono:
These guys who try to mask their bias in terms of nationality -- because that's somewhat excepted in sports -- when it's really down to racial bias, is comical. Supporting Haye, who's a loud mouth prick, with an ego bigger than the UK itself, yet can't stand Calzaghe, who was at least somewhat humble. The examples don't stop there. There are loads of posters on here with such disdain for white fighters - especially white euro fighters.
I've never seen so many Americans support a British fighter before the fight started. Wonder why that is!?
Vitali saw his brother throw only jabs for 12 rounds and wobble twice. He found new respect for Haye, so much so he went from calling him a bum to someone who is a good tough opponent
Vitali must of expected more from his brother

I don't think he fought scared, as he said after the fight, he was dropping his hands and imploring Wladimir to come forward and make a mistake.
But it is true he did not often go toe to toe, because we all know that as the smaller man he would've been overpowered and KO'd.
This is true. This was also one of Wlad's best performances.
Haye came in with an excellent gameplan. He had great moving skills and slipped Wlads punches, looking to land a few big shots and steal the rounds. He also would drop to the canvas every time Wlad tried to hold on lean on him, which totally prevented Wladimie from holding. Booth and Haye hatched a damn fine plan.
Wladimir, however, stepped it up. He kept up a massive work rate and prevented Haye from throwing anything. He was ready for all of Hayes shots. He may have landed less than usual, but in keeping those punches coming nonstop, he stopped Haye from finding the chance to throw hardly anything.
Get performance from Wlad against a fit and prepared opponent. Shut Haye out and shut him out.
You could tell Vitali was impressed with both what Haye brought to the ring and how Wlad handled him.

Vitali just wants a bite at Haye as he's jealous of his brother's payday. I would like to see Haye Vitali if Haye stays in the game but I doubt he will.
Vitali ain't the gracious type.
He said that Haye was his brother's toughest fight.
He'll say he believes in the toe injury.
He'll say that Haye is one of the best out there.
Then he will...
Get him in the ring
Beat him silly
Knock his ass into retirement

He's helping his brothers legacy, what else?
I always laugh at the Pactards & Flomos who destroy their lovers opposition and label them all bums when they should be watching an old experiened hand like Vitali and following his lead if they really want to help their lovers legacy
Very respectful from Vitali if he said that, he didn't have to. Top man.
he did say that,i watched it
respect to him for being honest,it was a hard fight for wlad,he was going forward but not catching haye
struggling to do what ?
he didn't land the jab that much because haye was outside the whole time , and everytime he tried to get inside and throw one of his " haymakers " wlad defended or haye flopped like a bit*h
easy win for wlad
Vitali saw that fight form Wlads corner and he's sat through all of Wlads fights including the ones he has lost, so for him to make such a statement is big
he didnt put down Haye after the fight, however before the fight he had a lot to say about Haye being a bum
Speed, thats all Haye has, because he is a natural cruiserweight
In every other department Wlad schooled him. Haye does not even have a jab and resorted to pure amateurish lunging when he realized how superior Wlad is.
Vitali's being generous.
