I don't understand how you can be so big and strong and fight so cautiously? Both guys landed about 5 significant punches each. Wlad didn't go to the body at all. Haye tried but he didn't throw enough. Nevertheless, Haye gave Wlad opportunities by standing right in front of him with his hands down but Haye was just to quick and elusive for Wlad. I can't be too mad at Haye because he faced such a significant size disadvantage. This fight just reinforces how much the HW division sucks. Blown up CW like Haye and Adamek are the biggest challengers to the Klit brothers, that's a damn shame.
the point system isn't for fun, Wlad landed more hits. Haye is much younger and had a big advantage as the aggressor but failed to fight as one, waiting until the very last round to try and knockout 6'6 240 lb Klitschko. Wlad, at 35, fought a safe fight and saved his energy by not throwing his slow right hand. It was a slow, boring HW fight but the biggest shame was Haye's inability to account for his words in the weeks leading up to the fight.
Well, if Haye is just going to stand there ducking and dodging and throw 10 single punches a round....Wlad doesn't really need to do much more than jab his way to victory.
Why take unnecessary risk?
Doesn't make for an exciting fight, or 'punish' Haye in any way. But it's helped him get an easy win.
he promised to beat haye to a pulp, all this talk of "i will punish him" he was a bigger **** talked than haye
you could tell wlads corner were very frustrated with him, they pointed out a number of times that he wasnt lettin any punches go, he wasnt using his left hook, his right cross....even in round 10 they were telling him to throw something
being tall and throwing a few jabs doesnt make you a great boxer....

Wlad is 6'5. If he leaned down to go to the body, he'd have caught a hook to the jaw. Haye's constant movement kept either of them being able to plant their feet and throw too many huge shots.
Wlad, however, definitely did win the fight by a very large margin. He brought the pressure and maintained a monster work rate for someone his size. Haye couldn't execute his gameplan because he was dodging punches all night.
agree with ur post
however i think haye went in with the wrong gameplan and needs to get rid of his trainer, the guy has a lot of potential with that style
to see a man with his hands totally down and wlad still could not land it was embarrassing to say the least
both men were piss poor on the night and did the HWD no favors
