No matter what happens. Let's say Klitschko breaks both arms in the 1st. round and stops throwing punches. He will still win on points.
IT'S IN GERMANY!
yeah i did a nice prediction of that fight. haye never came under wlad's skin and the two fought a rather predictable fight. also those slips by haye made the whole fight look messy. but on the overall i saw haye winning 2-3 rounds.
not an impressive win by wlad either,he was wayy to cautious. man on occasions haye was laughing into wlads face, with his guard down, but wlad still didn't want to tag him.
You can't win a fight by not throwing punches either!
Then it should have been a draw, because from the 6th and on, no one landed a good right hand. But reading through this post, some people ought to ****ing slap them selves.
Haye could probably wins on points if he knocks Wladimir to the floor over a couple of rounds. If he gets 3 10-8 rounds. But I don't think it will go that far.
Haye will COME STRAIGHT! at Wladimir, take him outside of that comfort zone.

And Germany is the only place where robberies happen right? Not like in the USA or UK, which are paragons of boxing justice :lol1: Haye can't win on points, how many times have the Klitschkos needed the judges to get a home cooked decision? Oh, that's right, 0.
When Gerber becomes champ, I am gonna gloat bad, and you can back me up cuz I called it.
I am debating if I should not pay attention then watch the replay as I may not get to see this live.
At my age, and my mother succeeded in conning me into coming down to visit her today ( about 40km away)..... And she doesn't have HBO(ARRRRRRFGHHHHHHH)
Gerber is the truth! You know it. I know it. Soon the rest of the world will follow!
Biggest HW fight in oumphteen years and you're going to your mothers??? Why not ask her over for some popcorn, beers and bortsch?
haye can't win on points, but it would be the least embarassing for him if he lost that way. i can see haye trying to do just that, if his other tactics fail to materialize. it would also give him a lot of trashtalking material aka:
referees cheated; wlad is nothing special - i would beat him in a rematch but i have to retire so sorry ... you know it.
Exactly Bat.
No one outboxes Wlad. In 15 plus years, I've never seen him outboxed.
Maybe outslugged on occasion, but never outboxed.
Wait for Gerber my man. That guy has undiscovered boxingskills and covert hittingpower. :)
Seriously. I am so fired up for this fight. Only thing is the rain. It has been raining all day. Glad I'm not in the stands lol.
Playing Devil's advocate here - what if Haye fought with the Valuev gameplan and had the majority of rounds similar to the 12th of said fight (with possible knockdowns)?
It's certainly unlikely but it's not infeasible. Haye might be able to deck Wlad with balance shots and taking him by surprise but might not wat or be able to clsoe the show.
Haye just doesn't have that kind of stamina. If he takes the route he did in the Valuev fight, he'll be jabbed silly. The only way Haye can win is to come out guns blazing IMO.
It's not even got anything to do with Germany. Haye's limited punch output and Wlad's superior boxing skills are what makes it impossible to win a decision in this fight.

I think he will fight exactly that way.
But Valuev was a bit crappy, really. He showed no ambition to get Haye out of there, and just offered jabs that kept Haye halfway across the ring.
I know that the possibily that he will actually win on points is as slim as wazaa's boxing knowledge but seriously doesn't it bother you that it's that way in germany?!

Even if he lose by vicious ko, he really doesn't have to do much at all to still outperform Wlad's last 14 opponents or so.
I just don't see him winning either being on the outside and boxing then darting in.
Those who beat Wlad took it to him and got in close and blasted away.
If it goes the distance or even close, it's not going to be exciting in the least.
Rahman was the guy who upset me.
At 170 pound and a bit lanky and without any boxing ability I could have got closer to beating Wlad.
I just think Haye and Booth will bank exclusively on having a heavy speed advantage. Looking at Vitali against Solis. I think Haye would have that over Big Vit. Against Wlad, I dunno.
I'd think Haye will go out on his shield though.
Haye will be out of punching range and passive for much of the fight if it goes that far.
It's unfeasible he wins on points, imo. I can't even imagine it.
