IMHO i think he wouldnt, reasons being father-son partnerships hardley ever work out, as he got older he must have realised how much of a work horse his father was and knew that staying with ARoger was what is best for his career.

I like when Sr. was training because Mayweather always looked extremely sharp. Roger does great work as well, but I think Sr. was always able to get the absolute best out of Jr.
Anyway, you could be right. I look at Judah's career and wonder why he didn't get his father out of the picture as far as being his trainer, I mean, the guy was a kickboxer at that. Then again, Mosley made the change a few times and it's not like he looked outstanding with the constant switches. It's hard to gauge what would have came of Mayweather if he hadn't split with his father. He was clearly frustrated with him by the time he switched, though.
I think he would still be undy because of the the way Floyd selects opponents either over the hill or not quite ready for a fighter the caliber of Floyd.
Everytime I see another Roger Mayweather trained fighter they are not impressive and often get whooped. Roger has even openly said that Floyd Sr. taught Floyd Jr. how to fight, and that he just showed Jr. how to make big money.
And plus Floyd Sr. was far superior of a fighter than Roger was.
No because his dad wouldve told him not to be a pu$$y and go on year long vacations and earn daddy that crack money!!
He wouldve been a regular fighter fighting 2-3 times a year. You always get in trouble when you got nothing to do, Boxing kept this dude out of trouble. AS soon as he takes a vacation all he gets is
1) loses money
2) gets into fight with bouncers/promoters/wife
3) Gets sued
4) loses a ton of fans.
I think his groupies, i mean Entourage of Yes-Men were tired of not getting any cash so they begged him to take a fight because Agreeing with Floyd on everything is a full time job
I think he would be. i honest don't think Roger or Floyd Snr make any difference to Floyd Jr at all. They're both too obsessed with themselves to think about their fighters, Ricky Hatton under Floyd Snr being case in point.
Floyd Jnr at this point just needs a guy to rub Vaseline on his and squirt water in his mouth, he doesn't need a trainer.
