why do you support david haye?
a/ because i genuinely think he can win
b/ because i'm his countryman
c/ because i hate wlad
should be a poll too hopefully.
all 3 for me as well.
Im not blind sighted enough though national pride, to think haye is going to win no matter what he does full stop.
If wlad sticks to the snooze fest boring tactics and does not let haye in, then wlad will win.
But "in a ring where nobody has a chin, the first punch wins the fight"
I believe haye has the power to hurt wlad with 1 punch, and if wlad opens up that iron defense even once, it will be an early night with a haye ko
on the other hand haye is equally as bad with the chin, so it just comes down to who is first to the punch.
Because of hayes power and speed, and as stated in option 2, because he is a fellow countryman, im putting my money on david haye by knock out.
Wlad i dont hate, but do dislike, he believes he has a legacy to uphold when all he has fought is bums for years.
This is the first oppotunity i believe in several years to put the doubters to rest.
I agree with all 3 answers.
ookay you are his countryman, and you genuinely think he can win. but why would you hate wlad? it's kinda weak to draw opinion of some person from hate towards another.
Because he has the speed and power to win at any time and the chin to lose at any time. Even when he's putting in a defensive performance like he did against Valuev the suspense generates excitement. There isn't more exciting boxer in my opinion.
He's a heavyweight champion of the world and is from London England.
He's an exciting boxer with incredible punch power.
He's the best looking heavyweight in the history of the sport. Yes I would let him bum me.

I want Haye to win, I think hes exciting to watch, has a lot of charisma and is funny (has been in the upcoming fights), I dont take much notice to fighters being from England but I think that ontop of the other reasons is why I WANT him to win.
Im not sure whether or not hes gonna pull it off though, Klitschko is a tricky fighter and Haye will have to take Klitschko out of his comfort zone and confuse him early, which isn't easy... for the most part though I want to see a good fight.
He's my countryman, and he's exciting.
The thing with Brits is it makes sense from a very basic level that: the better our fighters do the more actual boxing we get to watch.
It relates directly to how much boxing actually gets televised in the country and has knock-on effects on the entire sport in Britain.
If your a Brit who loves boxing. You always back the Brits as well as having favorite fighters from abroad. It's obvious.
We all like small hall boxing, but the boxing big-time like this fight is what makes the sport tick.
I'd be a bit dubious of a lot of Brits who don't back British fighters. They must like streaming boxing at 5 in the morning with terrible quality.
I think a lot of British boxing fans aren't "real" boxing fans. A lot of the time, they just go for the British fighters, purely because they're British; often not following boxing properly or even knowing much about their opponents.
I am English, but I'm not like those patriotic fans. I'm actually picking Wladimir Klitschko by knockout.
the retiring thing is all nonsense
if he wins, there is so much money to be made, at the end of the day money will always come first to these boxers, the bigger the payday the more easier it is to get them into the ring
he's still young and if he can somehow dispose of Wlad and Vitali, he will most likely carry on fighting
so you think it's a lie? haye made this very clear and i respect him for that. i think if he beats wlad vitali is the only guy left so that fight should be made before retirement. or he can use it as an excuse not to fight vitali. with haye you never know for sure. he's as dodgy in the real life as he isin the ring.
If he wins of course he will retire. He will have so much pull in the media world as a multi belt holding champ, he can print money for the rest of his days as a true heavyweight champion of the game.
okay. how does that work? he plans to retire later this year , how does that make him exciting? best he'd do is make wlads belts vacated/available for other boxers.
also i made a short poll ,because long polls are useless , and most haye fans seems to be one of these types. if someonemakes a wlad poll i'll gladly reply there.

Because I like him. He is fast, can punch, and talks a good game. Simply put, he is what the HW division has been missing.
A lot of people think Brits only support our own, but that's not always the case. More often than not though, British fighters put on exciting fights which endear them to the public and make it difficult not to support them.
Naseem, Haye, Hatton, Khan, Calzaghe, and Froch almost always put on a show and are loved. On the other hand, after the 2000 Olympics Harrison was the nations darling, but he was involved in one lousy fight too many and we turned on him.
Like it or not, exciting, heart on their sleeve fighters will always have British support. They may not be the best, but as long as they try 100% and have heart, we will cheer in the stands for them through victory and defeat.
I support Haye because he has a legit chance to spark a new interest in the HW division.

I wouldnt call myself a Haye 'fan', but I will be supporting him tonight as he is British, just as I do when our football teams play in Europe. Will I shed a tear for him if he loses? Hell no! He will be stinking rich and he would have lost to a magnificent,ATG heavyweight champ.
both men have a good punch
both men have sh1t chins
both men are not very good heavyweight champs
makes a exciting fight that could go either way, haye early wlad late
