didn't setenta or something get fukked up? i dont remember the details but why do people forget this? it was a pretty big deal
I think he claimed he had an injury but never showed proof of that. That's why I'm thinking there was a reason other than he was scared like everyone said. Haye is not scared to fight, most fighters aren't.
It's selective memory.
Setanta went bust, Haye was on a tiny percentage for the klitschko fight and was relying on Setanta money to get paid, when they went bust he had no tv outlet in the uk and sky would have lowballed the fight since he was desperate.
sure Haye could have fought for peanuts but he's a businessman, the fight is happening now, Haye is on a massivley bigger payday for it and has pocketed over 10 million quid for the ruiz, valuev and harrison fights.
As a fighter Haye has pissed people off but as a businessman he has made all the right moves
totally hit the nail on the head but people ignore this
Haye will be there this time. I still think Haye somehow realized he could hype this fight up by waiting and that's why he pulled out the first time. He took easy fights to be on the safe side.

haye will show up for sure. sky wasted 1mil£ for the show, so they would
kill him if he pulled out the last second.
the question is what he will deliver in the ring. if he puts up a bad performance or pulls out, he will be the laughing stock for months to come.
haye will show up, i put a bet on this actually (as you can see in my sig). however, I am extremely glad this fight is happening - it is great for the sport. hopefully its good enough to warrant a rematch. i will enjoy watching haye get ko'd and reading the responses from the brits on this forum.
