Someone from the UK has bet $96 thousand dollars (£60,000) on David Haye to win!
A WILLIAM HILL betting shop client in West London has put down £60,000 on a David Haye victory on Saturday night in what could be the biggest betting boxing event of all time - eclipsing even the current record £20million gamble when Ricky Hatton lost to Manny Pacquiao in 2007.

How bad would that be if the bettor were David Haye?
I still can't believe Haye was a favorite in the UK. I thought the -136 odds I got on Wlad to win by KO or UD was generous.
I admit I did bet a little on Haye KO inside of 6. It just seemed like that was the only way he'd win.
This was the reaction of the bookies everytime they got a huge bet on Haye.
Customer: yes, I would like to place a 10,000 squid bet on Haye
Bookie: *chuckled* well he's 3/5 on
Customer: Yes, 10,000 squid.
Bookie: Thank you sir have a great day and good luck
*bookie turns around to coworker*

But seriously, I would only put money on Haye if the odds were proper, like wlad being -600 or -700 as he shouldve been, the odds were so horrible that there were places almost even odds.
Haye was never 50/50 in this fight yet people put stupid amounts of money on him? Do they like pissing money away?
I placed my wager over the phone and the rep on the other end says to me "that's a lot of money, most people are betting on Haye"
And I said "yeah they're called retards".
I told him to hurry up and place his own bet.

Wlad was a clear 7:1 favourite in reality, but Hayes mouth convinced even UK bookies.

You know any UK bookies who are willing to take Canadian CC? I tried a few places but they wouldnt take my CC. Brits had crazy odds at one point, Wlad was like 3/4 and Haye was like 3/5 wtf??? I couldnt get a ben down
Nah, British sites will not take American customers (not sure if the policy holds for Canadians). I previously used bet365.com and loved it because of the stupid lines Brits post in favor of their boys.
Now I use offshore Caribbean books. I never use a credit card to make deposits. I send Western Union or Moneygram and get my payouts by wire transfer into my bank account.
Go to sportsbookreview and check out their recommended sites, there are plenty of good ones out there, but also a lot of sh*tty ones you will want to avoid.
Cha-ching
Another $1000 payday for the Hitman.
Enjoy your E-points all you ******* who are afraid to put your money where your mouth is.

As for the gambling end. I have $2200 on a straight Wlad victory to win $1000.

To some people out there that's like 96 dollars, it's all relative
If you've got that much money and half a brain you would just lay 200 thousand pounds on Klitschko.
I love America, but I would never be willing to lose that kind of money in the name of blind nationalistic pride.
I made a lot of money on Barrett over Fields. I think I got +220 on Monte and bet 300 or 400.
That was one where I was just waiting on Fields to fight someone good for years so I could bet against him.
Same with Sosnowski.
Currently there is another undefeated Polish Heavy named Mariusz Wach who is just waiting to go bust. As soon as he fights someone with a pulse he will be going down and I have been waiting on the moment since the first time I saw him fight.
lol you guys are vultures:bigeyes:
That's good for him, he was very amateurish with his technique in the fights I witnessed which resulted in his power be very disappointing for a man his size.
I see he has a fight scheduled for later this month. Any idea who he will be facing?
And speaking of easy bets. People are down on Despaigne after he was dominated by Sillakh, but he will take Edison Miranda to school on that same night as Wach fights at the Mohegan.
He's fighting Kevin McBride. I remember overhearing that conversation about a week ago, and I interjected "I thought he retired!" They said no he's back, and mind your business haha.
Want a Polish heavyweight to get excited about? Meet Artur Szpilka, who is fighting on the undercard of Wach's fight. Szpilka is 22, 6-0 (4 KO), and just knocked out this 8-0 (7 KO) guy in 33 secs this past weekend.
Best part? He's coming off of 2 years inactivity after serving 18 months for his role in a soccer brawl in Poland. He returned to the ring this weekend wearing an orange prison jumpsuit escorted by sexy dancers dressed as cops haha.
Now Wach is training with Juan and Carlos De Leon. Juan De Leon was the guy who trained Baby Joe Mesi, while Carlos was a four-time cruiserweight champ.
He's doing well with the De Leon brothers, and its funny to see him dancing to Salsa in the gym lol.

Nothing against him. He seems like a decent guy but he's not going to beat a World Class Heavy.
He's really big and has a pretty looking record which means somewhere down the line he's gonna be made a 4-1 favorite over someone like Fres Oquendo or Travis Walker and I don't see him beating anyone of that caliber.
Is he still training with Michael Moorer? If he ditched Moorer than I will give him a much better chance going forward.
The Vach Star's problem in the past has been, he's never really had a trainer. He was in Poland beating guys simply on strength and size. I remember he was training with the Polish super middleweight champion Piotr Wilczewski sometimes, but that was very light work and Wilk wound up focusing more on his own career instead.

I call him the Wach-star. Wach is my boy, we work out at the same gym together and I teach him some English sometimes. He's a really funny guy, I remember when they were trying to come up with nicknames for him because the Polish Giant wasn't catchy enough, he wrapped his towel around his head and said "I'll be Mustafa" haha.

When I was in Vegas recently, I hit on roulette, but only bet the minimum, which was $10. I was so pissed, even though I had no way of knowing that would happen haha.
I wish I put action on Monte Barrett over Tye Fields. I have no idea how Fields was a 3-1 favorite or something like that.
