The bias of the British media

A little bit of bias is one thing, absolute hatred and bigotry when you disagree with someone is totally different. A lot of gonad licking fans on this site are like that unfortunately.

England are winning the world cup every four years according to the English media. Guess what... :rofl:

There is nothing wrong with pulling for your own.

First off I'm a Brit myself and I love our boxers... BUT - just something I thought I should point out... In The Ring magazine, they asked experts who they thought would win in the upcoming Haye-Wlad fight. 17/20 gave the fight to Wlad, while 3 gave it to Haye. In a very similar poll in a British boxing magazine (may have been Boxing News, possibly not), only 5/16 'experts' gave the fight to Wlad, while 11 gave it to Haye. I think the fight could go either way, but IMO it's much more likely that Wlad will knock him out in the middle of the fight. Who knows though? Thoughts on UK media in boxing? Yeah, I have noticed that trend myself. It's part of why I was so surprised that Sky Sports gave a fairly unbiased report/build-up for the two fighters.

Find a German or Ukranian magazine and compare. And it also depends who they polled in Boxing News. Its often fighters or former fighters who know Haye personally. Like Khan or Froch.

If our media said Haye has no chance and it's most likely he would be knocked out, how many casual fans would want to pay for that?

Every nation supports their own, it is what it is.
