Here it is guys, enjoy it. Its pretty funny, I started asking him about Pacquiao and Mayweather goes "You look like you're Filipino." I was like, "Yeah, you're pretty good." Haha but its good material, Mayweather is a class act.
Exactly, I'm not trying to be some kind of wannabe crusader at a public event, I asked the simple questions and got the answers I was looking for. It is possible to ask someone questions on a touchy subject without seeming like a jerk.
Amen. A lot of boxing writers should take note; then again, half these jokers are looking for that controversial, angry retort quote, and the 15 minutes of fame that comes with it.
good job asian!
it was a good question, when you asked mayweather to give his side of the story about pacquiao.
and repping GMA7! lol
The reason why I asked that question was, I feel that the Filipino media has been too one-sided in its coverage of Pacquiao-Mayweather and its fallout. I can see Mayweather's side of it, where he doesn't feel comfortable talking to Filipino media because he figures that anything he says will get him vilified in the media.
I wanted to give Mayweather the chance to clear the air and be real, but I think he got caught up in the act and didn't take advantage.
Jro just mad Oscar boxed the sh!t out of Tito in '99 :lol1:
Yea 8 rounds out of a 12 round fight :lol1: Too bad for Oscar that it was a championship fight.
And, is that why I'm mad? I thought it was because of the autograph :lol1:
You can ask the questions people want the answers too without disrespecting the fighter you know? I prefer people who interview like that. Its usually the ones who try and grill people all the time that are the worst ones, they're just negative to gain popularity because controversy sells.

uhhh that wasn't exactly bob woodward u didn't challenge him @ all.
if ur interviewing pac u should grill him about steroids. if ur interviewing floyd, u shud grill him over ducking. but i get it, ur trying to move up in the world so fvck integrity and tough questions i guess.

I bet you fukking love your job! :D
Nice work though, good interview... guys like you are the better interviewers, ask the questions that people want the answers too, without disrespecting the fighter.

Thank you very much, and I'm sorry you have to put up with me on Twitter lol
Was Mayweather lying when asked about ducking Pacquiao?
He exibited signs of someone that is lying.
Exaggerated body movement: They become actors and their actions and facial expressions get bigger to convince you they are telling the truth.
Stress gestures: Lying makes people stressed and this comes across in their body language with strange gestures such as scratching, itching and twitching. More frequent swallowing and faster blinking are also signs that they are being economical with the truth.
Eye movement: We move our eyeballs to stimulate different parts of the brain. When the eyes roll upwards to the left, they are recording memories and probably being honest. But when their eyes roll up to the right, they are stimulating imagination, and are probably going to lie to you.
When asked about ducking Pacquiao, Floyd rolls his eyes up and to the right, the brain constructing something.
Great video by the way though.
I was more or less trying to give him an out, asked him in a non-accusatory manner just looking for a sound byte, and I never really got the quote.
Yes very weak, but if I gave you all of my attention, I'd never get any of this work done. But thank you for supporting boxing.
It's ok, jro is a busy man too. He is currently planning a "drive by" at a California-area rehab facility............
