Either way, it's a lose-lose situation for Chavez. If he fights Martinez and the other name guys out there like Cotto, Margarito, Angulo, and Williams, then Chavez is in for a world of pain. If he doesn't fight any of these guys, then he'll be nothing more than a coward and a fraud, and the boxing media will view him as such. One thing is for certain. Chavez Jr. is not his father. Then who would be to blame if it doesn't? Last I checked Martinez has been loud and clear he wants him, and according to this Jr wants to fight him. I'd gain more respect, win or lose, for Jr if he has the balls to take this fight. I never will hate on a guy for taking a tough fight and coming up short.
