both are on their way out, but margs has been really inactive, let alone beat to shiit. he's plasterless FOR SURE this time around, so we'll see how things turn out a second time around. i think cotto is capable of coming out victorious...

I think its a pretty reasonable accusation since he got caught against mosley. However after the match, margarito gave like 5 interviews with his handwraps on, how come someone was never smart enough to check them? Assuming that margarito had plaster in the match against cotto it's as valid as assuming pacman is on roids

I was VERY surprised by that. Margarito has definetly slid a bit but no more then Cotto has IMO. Of COURSE Marg looked bad against Pac. Pac's style is all kinds of wrong for Marg, not to mention Pac is about 100x better. I think the oddsmaker believe Marg cheated in their first fight, as do most people, and that explains the odds. Idk though. I think Marg still hits very hard and regardless of whether or not he cheated I think he's gonna be a real handful for Cotto again. Thoughts? I think it's fair enough. Cotto has been in some tough fights and taken alot of punishment, but at this stage of their careers, since they fought each other Margarito caught up and then surpassed him in terms of the punishment he has taken. Margarito has had some tough fights in his recent career: - Clottey (was taking clean shots and had to set a compubox record of punches thrown to win) - Williams (tough rugged fight) - Cotto (may have won, but Cotto hit him clean and often for the first 7 rds) - SSM (skull fukked Margarito) - MP (slapped Margarito around and broke his orbital bone) I don't care how good his chin is, this is too much accumulated punishment when you consider he is in his 30's now and has been a pro since he was 16 or 17. Alot of this also applies to Cotto, but i think he is more rested and benefits more fomr the fight being at 154. I would not bet on this fight.

Makes perfect sense. Tony suffered a career-threatening beating and will be inactive for over a year when he steps into the ring against Cotto who's been more active and hasn't taken any real damage since '09. Tempting odds though, I gotta say....
