Let's put this fight in perspective. The heavyweight division is lethargic. Two talented guys who have talked a lot of trash and who have belts are facing off against one another.
I think Wladimir vs Haye is clearly the biggest heavyweight fight since Lewis vs Vitali in June of 2003.
Get excited.
ROFL @ hweightblogger, do you write this stupid **** on purpose to troll?
And yet you have no counter-arguments, only insults.
The quote in my sig is the most retarded thing i've seen someone type on this board.
Thank you for spreading the truth anyway.
This thread is about heavyweights.
Then you should have wrote "biggest hw fight in history". And this isjt even bigger than lennox-tyson or it would be ppv.

obviously it is i reckon its a 50/50 % fight wlad has experience haye has youth both have power and questionable chins and are in their prime heavyweight champions i usually watch both their fights whenever they are on live and hope it will live up to the hype and not be a cautious/hug fest fight since im paying £14.95 on box office to see it..
War Haye :boxing:

Its an exciting match up on paper due to Haye's goading but in reality it isnt, Why? Because when you look deeply Wlad has every single advantage going into this fight over Haye, The only thing Haye has would be Power which he has to hope lands, And what happens if he lands his best shot on Wlad and he just takes it? Fight over for me at that point..
i can't wait for it. hopefully haye wins, it'll lead to a showdown against vitali. really don't think adamek can beat vitali but who knows...either way, if haye wins, it'll make things a hell of a lot more interesting.
In terms of magnitude, Louis-Schmeling II wipes its ass with this fight.
Louis vs Schmeling II (198 lbs vs 193 lbs) was a famous cruiser fight (hence is actually offtopic), but it wasn't broadcast in 140+ countries.
So does Ali-Frazier I.
Attendance 19500.
Was it actually broadcast in other countries or was it only a local event?
Was a boring fight anyway. A clash of 2 featherfists (Frazier and Ali are at the bottom of KOperformance of all heavyweight world champs to date). And Clay/Ali holding for 30% of the fight.
*Yawn*

That's two that make your case.
If Pac-May ever happened, at Cowboys, it would too.
Doesn't mean this ain't massive in its own right.
P.S. Just got into Friday Night Lights and your Minka Kelly av is aces.
she doesn't look bad...
"There aren't 130,000 Mexicans who can afford tickets"
:lol1:
Haha, 65k did sneak in or get the hookup from a family member that worked there....i didnt say 130k paid.
Just stop.
Not even close.

I was going to say since Lewis vs Tyson. Perhaps I gave some extra credit to Vitali vs Lennox retrospectively.
Who cares? Its a big fight and your point is taken.
Broadcast live in 140+ countries.
50'000+ attendence.
Possibly the BIGGEST boxing match of all times.
Tyson vs Lennox: 15'000 attendence
Tyson vs Evan Fields II (ear) 16'000 attendence

What? You are aware that 130k people saw chavez-haugen in person correct?
Even bigger. Biggest since Lewis-Tyson. Lewis-Klit was bigger after than heading in. That fight had short, sub build and Vitali was still perceived as soft. Instead, minor classic emerged. That was a surprise gift.
This is Xmas day and the Red Ryder BB gun.

Is Haye v Wlad that big of a fight? Its big for the division, but its not like it is all over the place or anything. Nothing like Tyson fights.
