He was coming off a dominating TKO win over Malignaggi, while Cotto was coming off a poor gift decision against Clottey in Cotto's second home New York. I personally thought Hatton was going to beat Pacquiao and was totally wrong. Pacquiao shut me up that night, but since then he has not fought any one who I thought had a good chance against him outside of Clottey, which I predicted was gonna go the distance. I had Cotto losing by TKO, and if Cotto had stand and fight and not run all night, he would have gotten stopped way quicker. Yes, I saw Hatton and Clottey both as tougher fights than Cotto. Add the 145 catchweight and I gave Cotto no chance whatsoever, not even a milligram. Prime Hatton at 140 beats Cotto...There's no need to say who wins between Clottey and Cotto because IMO Clottey already beat Cotto. Just for the record i had Mosley-Cotto a Draw and so did a lot of other posters, some even had Mosley winning, Cotto faded in the last 4 rounds but since it was MSG, like in the Clottey fight, Cotto got the close fight to go his way. dunno if youre being sarcastic or shyt, and fantasy fights are cool, but at the end of the day you have the result that stands and the effort/performance. Right now, The Ring P4P ratings are as follows: 1 Pacquiao 2 Martinez 3 Donaire 4 Marquez If Mayweather doesn't look invincible against Ortiz and Pacquiao sparks Marquez as he should, how can Mayweather usurp Pacquiao in the P4P ratings? Its all subjective anyway. It just depends on how u look at it. Id guess if he has to dig deep but pulls out the victory he ll be ranked p4p 2 or 3 depending on where u slot martinez. Although ortiz isn't on that elite elite level yet he s still big, young, strong, and hungry. Add that with floyd not fighting in over a year and anything can happen. I've been saying all along, this is the first real fight floyds signed on for in years. He deserves mad respect for jumping off the couch right into ortiz, not many fighters could do that and be expected to dominate the way floyd is.

Or the Jesus Chavez fight, Chavez applied extreme amount of pressure on Floyd, he really came with it that night. Floyd didn't fold, he laid against the ropes and countered. I keep telling people Floyd may be defense but he changes depending on the fight, thinking pressure will win over Floyd is not the way to go. Most guys that have tried to pressure him have been TKO or KO'd.

Defensive fighters like Mayweather and Hopkins tend to have trouble with high-workrate, high pace and pressure fighters, which I expect Ortiz to come out as. Ortiz is an angled southpaw like Pacquiao, which is why Mayweather is fighting him. Lastly, Mayweather must dominate Ortiz to remain top-3 P4P, otherwise he has no right to it. Calzaghe threw 1,000 + against Kessler, 1,000 plus against Lacy, almost 1,000 against Jones vs just 700 against Hopkins. It is actually quite the opposite that Hopkins has trouble with workrate fighters, workrate fighters have trouble with Hopkins. And it's no different with Mayweather. It is no secret that almost every fighter is reduced to throwing the least amount of punches they have thrown in their fights tracked by compubox, when they fight Mayweather. Go check in what fight did Shane Mosley threw the least amount of punches in his career tracked by compubox. Go see the same for Marquez and several other fighters.

I really wouldn't make that comparison, B-Hop has to fight at a set pace because of his age, had he been younger he would have been able to capitalize against Calzaghe, especially that punching style of Calzaghe's. Floyd ain't that old, his speed, reflexes, conditioning is still well intact. He doesn't have to conserve energy the way Hopkins has to. I don't know about "must dominate" but I think he'll stop Victor.
