If haye does win it is a feather in his cap. But I will venture that it would be little else. It would not or should not substantially add to his legacy because, as someone pointed out in another thread about a week ago, he has no intention of fighting past October. Wladimir's reputation would be irrecoverable while haye's would be significantly lauded in the short term, but would only slightly benefit in the long term. Similarly, if Wladimir wins, he's expected to win and haye is expected to lose so he gains little and haye only loses something because of his brash attitude.
haye could get some credit (depending on how he handles himself) for finally fighting one of the Klitschkos, but let's not forget that he is cherry-picking. He elected to fight the 'weaker' of the two brothers for a reason. That is not 'unifying the heavyweight division' and it is not 'fighting the best', it is padding your record and hoping to make one last score before he retires. If he were to hang around long enough to fight Vitali, as much as I dislike haye, I would give him props even if he lost. If he won, well...then even if he retired soon thereafter he would have unified the Heavyweight division and done so in style...but he ain't going to do that.
Haye knows he can't beat Vitali and has never wanted to fight him
Wladimir will look old in this fight for a few rounds then touch David with a clipping right on David's chin and then he (David) will think he is in the movie "The Green Mile", saying "Hey Boss, so sorry for the trouble Boss".

Haye could win this, u never know. Wladimir is not a great fighter, too robotic, and he wa ko'd by Sanders n Brewster. Haye too can be ko'd, but he's more natural fighter of the two.
9 more days, can't wait to see haye lose and retire a bloody beaten mess. Maybe he will apologize for his comments towards the Klits after he gets Brutally knocked out.
Erm..right....terrified....that's it....
Yes, Wlad was extremely terrified... or how do you call it when you have to hold yourself back to not cause a massacre of epic proportions?
:alucard:
Hayes very confident of his own abilities. He put the heat on Enzo Macarenelli and he crumbled in two round, when he was supposed to test Haye. So Haye thinks he can do the same to Wlad who has been brittle in the past.
Haye didnt try it with Valuev as Valuev was so big and Haye was new too the division and was just being cautious. But i think haye thinks he could ko valuev if they ever fought again.
Haye has no defense
he isn't gonna get past the Wlad jab
so long as Wlad lands the jab, he can land the right
Haye won't take it for very long
he has 2 ways out, fight and get KO'd or run to a UD loss
he won't land any combos and won't KO Wlad with 1 punch
This........
I see this fight going 6 or 7 rounds. Haye will get KO'd. He doesn't have the style or the chin to stand up to Wlad. The jab will dominate the fight. Haye is just another hype job that will get exposed.
