Why Is There No Interest In A Martinez-Margarito Rematch?

I dont understand why nobody wants to see it. Id love to see this fight happen. Who gives a **** if theyre both from oxnard.They fought a long time ago so itd be interesting to see how it play out years later and it'd be a good boxer vs brawler matchup and theyre in the same divison and theyd both be willing to do it as long as the $$ right. Watchu guys think? Reasons Martinez Should Fight Him 1.Martinez can avenge his only real loss and the only KO loss of his career. 2.It will get him some more exposure and add to his resume instead of that barker dude 3.More $$$$ 4.He can show hes better than pacman by KOing him or beatin him more impressivley and show hes the true p4p king 5. Margarito is the only big name with the balls to step in with Maravilla right now Reasons Margarito Should Fight Him 1.If he beats him hes back on top and one of the top middleweights 2.$$$$$$$ 3.Proves basically his whole career or in any fights he didnt use plaster if he can beat a beast like martinez.

I don't know if you can say Marg is shot, the same way you can't say Cotto is shot but they aren't the same fighters, that we know. Martinez murders Marg, I would not want to see that fight because it would be worse than what happened to him vs Pac. I don't want to see Chavez Jr, Marg or cotto ever step in the ring with Martinez because I don't want to see anyone lose their life and being serious.

he would whoop margarito's ass into retirement no joke there's no way he'd ever fight again because his chin is good enough to get back up after he gets dropped and that left hand isn't gonna be able to miss all night way too much head movement and footspeed he's not only a superior fighter today, he's got a style that is horrible for margarito and he's a true MW at this point with punching power

I just don't want to see the fight, its that simple, Martinez can do what he wants, but YOU can't make him fight old slow Margarito if he doesn't want to. i'm just saying that is a questionable reason for not trying to avenge his loss when the fight is expected to be easy. what is he a phucking saint? why would any boxer avoid a sure lottery win? :bigeyes:

Margarito is lucky he has had the pay days he has recieved! Getting caught cheating before the SSM fight, getting KTFO by SSM, then getting a title fight after that loss, with PACQUIAO, and now another title fight, after a loss, with COTTO is f*cken ridicules!!!! Two KO beatings in a row, and he's still fighting for a title???? The m*therf*cker should be in jail for cheating, not getting paid millions for getting Knocked the F*ck Out!!!! Margarito is clearly in the twilight of his career and is looking to get one or two more big paydays before he bows out. He will face Cotto and (if he loses) possibly get fed to Alvarez if TR and GBP are on good terms, both of those fights being on PPV. Taking a dangerous fight he would likely lose for a much smaller payday is not a good business move for Marg or Top Rank. Uncle Bob knows how to squeeze his cash cows to the last drop; he knows better than to make a fight like this. Arum only throws his guys into fights like that if the opponent is a bigger draw than his own fighter and there's money to be made. I can see Arum looking to match Vanes with Martinez, because that would be an opportunity to turn Vanes into a star. One the other hand, Bob's going to be smart and keep his star fighters (Chavez, Cotto, Margarito) as far away from Sergio as possible.
