No doubt Wlad in my view. Even if we forget for a moment that it took Wlad 2+ years to get Haye back into the ring after Haye faked an injury two weeks before their fight back in June 2009, it's obvious to everyone but the most ardent Gayevid lovers and drunk Brits that Wlad has won the media battle prior to the fight.
The most compelling evidence of this is the fact that Haye refused to be even in the same room as Wlad on Ringside. If he was so confident, wouldn't he want to confront Wlad like did back when he was accosting him on an escalator? I think that lost him a lot of fans in Britain.
There are a ton of other little things, like his subdued demeanor during the press-conferences, or that Wlad feels a lot more comfortable in Britain than Gayevid in Germany.
Now it seems like a lot of Brits are rooting for Wlad and Gayevid is viewed as the villain. That clearly bothers him, so he is coming out with silly press releases in hopes of changing that opinion. But it's too late, I think the Brits have embraced Wlad and Gayevid is not getting as much support as he would have liked back home. This has rattled Gayevid. The Diva does love the limelight, so I think the pre-fight battle has been won by Wlad.
Of course the next two weeks will only get more intense. I just hope Diva doesn't back out at the last moment like last time....
I have never in my life seen a boxer being so scared like Haye.
His best appearances he has when Wlad is miles away. As soon as Wlad nears he shakes like a leaf on a tree.
Wlad is going to teach this guy manners for 12 rounds. He's going to wish Wlad KO'd him early, but he wont. It will be a SLOW / LONG torture of Jabs and straight right's until poor David is sitting in his corner all daze begging for them to stop it in the 10th round. But no, he will go out and take more punishment until Wlad decides when School will be over and when he decides that then Haye will be on his back, thinking, what excuse should I make?
