Froch v Ward- There Will Be An Upset

Neither fighter winning could be considered an upset. Who is that "everyone" you're talking about writing Froch off? Maybe the people on this thread that have commented saying an easy win for Ward? Maybe those in the threads after the Johnson fight who said the same thing? Do a search if you want to read it all. Froch will turn up and let's see what Andrea's got.

The only upset would be Ward KO/TKO'N Froch! If it turn into a pure boxing match I favor Ward, if it turns into a brawl I favor Froch.

Its a 50/50 fight so there will be no upset and both winner and loser will still have a lot to be proud of in reaching the final of a unique tournament. Both have propelled their status forward through it already and will have plenty of options post super 6. That being said I predict a hard night for both and a close fight where they will both have their moments but if I had to pick a winner Id say Froch on points but it could easily go the other way.

I expect Ward to win convincingly. Would be suprised if Froch won, can't see how he wins a descion and I find it doubtful he stops Ward. Then again, I have said that before about Froch. plus you detest froch

Yea, thats fans will be upset after a 1 sided forgetable fight.. Ward takes this.. Froch is too slow, robotic with a leaky defense. And a lot of people are picking Froch to win. No one is writing him off

Everyone is writing Froch off but he's the toughest guy physcially and mentally in the competition and he isn't going to be intimidated by Ward. His roots make him too strong. When he goes through the headbutts and throws back Andrea will be in trouble. It's a gritty fight and Andrea doesn't have it in him to pass that. Something big will land and Andrea will go down. Ward will be favored(as he should be)but if Froch wins it will not be an upset..Myself like most fell this is a 5p/50 fight between the two best in the div..No upset the best man will win..

the only upset will be the people pulling for froch...... people lets be realistic.....this is gonna be a easy fight for ward. froch is just to zombie like for ward. he struggled with a shot but somewhat athletic taylor won a controversial decision against a athletic direll and now he's in the ring with a fighter that completes where the others came up short. heart, stamina, desire and most of all a great boxing I.Q. speed kills and speed with brain and stamina is a nightmare. dont be fooled by his performance against abraham who only beat a shot taylor in the tournament and it wasn't easy (that's why he is headed back to the middle weight after saying he would never return to that weight) or his win over a 40+ year old johnson that tag froch with the right hand at will. in the words of manny steward---- "froch is like Dennis Andries. He doesn’t know how limited he is." like i said easy fight.

At this point I really don't care who wins. I'm just happy the two best super-middleweights are getting it on in an age where the best consistently duck the the best. The loser in this fight will have nothing to be ashamed of.
