Whatever happened to Ricardo Torres?

wow i must have missed Juan Urango retiring, or i saw it and it didnt really register. Losing Juan Diaz is a shame, but Juan Urango would never have been more than a gatekeeper anyways, probably the right decision for both and Torres

thats a shame. I enjoyed watching him fight, he wasnt particularly old though was he? I know his style probably put wear and tear on his body but i thought he had more left in him some guys jus want to get out of the game early before getting too beat up. not a bad choice really. Urango and Juan Diaz both did this in recent memory. Urango to pig farming and Diaz to law.

I think he retired after the Raul Pinzon fight, since he was dropped 3 times in that fight and was way behind on the scorecards before digging down to finish off a tired Pinzon in the final round. that was an exhausting fight for him and he might have just wanted to call it a career. thats a shame.
