George Bush made up words all the time, so why can't Roy Jones?...:lol1:
All b.s. aside, I listened to him closely during the broadcast and he sounded OK; especially given the fact that he was KO'd a month earlier...
so true i can't lie though when i saw him do that i had a feeling a thread like this would appear
but before he was knocked out by tarver he took little to no punishment in the ring so it's not like the guy has always been in wars or fought like George Chuvalo
he famously went a whole round without being hit sure he's taken punishment in recent years but he never had a tough fight while in his prime so i think he'll be cool
the knockout he suffered at the hands of glen johnson was the worst i've seen also the one in his most recent outing there is blatantly damage left by those
even after being knockout a few times he is still way more compasmentus than Lennox Lewis ever was lol
Spectacticle - Of or pertaining to an impressive display of strategic superiority.
This guy isn't brain damaged. He just came up with a whole new word.

What? Canelo is spectacticle.
Probably just one fcuk up,nothing wrong with Roys pronunciation during the fight.
Most of his commentary sounds pretty good. Only time will tell.
a lot of black peoples in Montreal talks that way, it is normal.
"talks" that way and "peoples"....classic!!! I guess no one speaks English too well up there.

While he isn't going to speak as well as before he turned pro, I don't think he has any major brain damage. He spoke very well during the fight and didn't lose his train of thought mid sentence ala Shane Mosley.
So Shane why did you run against Pacquaio?
'Well this massive blister on...my...what day is it today again?'
from the green punch??
From all three fights with Tarver, the Johnson punch, the Green punches, and now from that last brutal set of punches. It would be interesting to hear him talk now.
Looks like a lot of people missed this article in Boxingscene from a few months ago: http://www.boxingscene.com/roy-jones-trying-fix-damage-from-ring-punishment--35834
Sadly, the last person to know when a once-great fighter needs to hang it up is the once-great fighter himself....
