Alot better to get KO'd quickly than being punished by body shots for 11 rounds and getting KO'd in the 12th.

I'm more impressed with how canelo handles this crowd and this showcase st the age of 20, than w his performance. 20 years old, that's a lot to handle at that age.

Dude, he gave him the Wlad treatment, carry a fighter to the 10th 11th and weaken him using the body then go for the KO in the 11th 12th. This is how Haye-Wlad is going to end up going, exact same fight. Shut up about Wlad already. He in no way resembles Canelo, and can't throw multipunch combos like Canelo. I thought Rhodes could make it because Canelo was slowing down.I thought there was no point in continuing this mismatch of a fight as early as the 8th round.

You watch a Canelo fight - 1). he is fighting an overmatched fighter, 2). he is fighting someone who doesn't stand a chance in the scorecard, and 3). he won't lose to anyone below the Top 10 of his division. At least with Chavez Jr. - 1). he fights fighters who might actually win, 2). his fights are always controversial, and 3). the fights are always even. Rhodes was scared when he noticed he couldn't deal with Canelo's explosiveness.......he really didnt take a risk, in fear of being caught clean...

that was a boring fight. put a bet on the fight to over 9.5 rounds so kinda glad alvarez had lapse in the fight like he did against m.hatton not sure if its lapse or a lack of confidence in his conditioning because rhodes was there for the taking to force a stoppage earlier in the fight I personally think he carried him a little. the second the 12th came around Alvarez jumped in and stopped it almost immediately.

Alvarez could have done that in the 5th and gone home early in that one...The few fights I have seen I always doubted his ability because he is just so orthodox, but u throw an unorthodox guy like that in against him and it just makes Canelo look better.
