I am wondering which state has the best boxing currently???
I know it used to be kronks gym detroit but that gym is defunct now and things constantly change and so I am wondering where is the best boxing in U.S????
I didn't even mention Joan Guzmanit lately], Daniel Jacobs, Paulie Malignaggi and Joshua Clottey.
Those are all from New York, I don't have to go to Mars to claim fighters.
Kev,
what state do Amir Khan and Sergio Martinez train in?
:lol1:
Mad desperate to claim any one, wow. Keep them, add every one you want to that list. Every one who steps foot in California. Add Kessler in there too.
Thirst ass nigga :lol1:
the question was; where is the biggest boxing hotbed in the US...where do they train...all the fighters i listed train in Cali
but hey, if you think its balanced, then its balanced...and LOL @ that list compared to the fighters that train in Cali
balanced :lol1:
I must've misread then:
I am wondering which state has the best boxing currently???
I don't see any where in the OP that asks what state is the US's "hotbed" or where boxers travel to train the most
it aint tied bro
fighters who train in the west coast;
Manny Pacquiao
Nonito Donaire
Andre Ward
Sergio Martinez
Timothy Bradley
Amir Khan
Brandon Rios
Victor Ortiz
Mikey Garcia
Robert Guerrero
that sh1t could be someone's p4p list
Wow, I said fighters who are number 1 in their division, not every WC fighter and every EC fighter. And wow at claiming a British fighter and Sergio lol. You're really reaching here.Okay it's like that.
East Coast fighters:
Bernard Hopkins
Steve Cunningham
Chad Dawson
Joseph Agbeko
Tomasz Adamek
Zab Judah
Mike Jones
Miguel Cotto
Elio Rojas
Danny Garcia
Peter Quillin
Edwin Rodriguez
It's too balanced out.
If we're talking about coasts though.
You got the East Coast ruling Light Heavyweight and Cruiserweight.
You got the West Coast ruling Super Middleweight, Timothy Bradley ruling Junior Welterweight.
If you wanna add Cotto and Donaire respectively, Cotto to the East Coast. Donaire to the West Coast, they are the top guys in their division.
The south, if you wanna add Gamboa for Florida, he's ruling Featherweight.
The midwest has fighters like Mayweather and Dirrell but they are not doing anything right now in terms of being at the top of their division.
I'm just going by who's #1 in each division by The Ring standards.
So East Coast and West Coast are tied, with a totl of 6 fighters being #1 in their division between the two.
