We have yet to really see what he's 100% capable of at the top level, which we'll see this Saturday when he fights The Ring's #4 JMW Ryan Rhodes. Until then, give him a break. He's already the champion. If he wasn't, I would completely agree with you, but as the champ he should fight against the best.

I think Cintron beats him and expose his flaws. Maybe Cotto and possibly Rhodes. I do think he possesses some gifts that will give anyone problems once he develops them. He needs more time though.

Cintron for sure. Perro would destroy him if he's given time to shake off the rust... Cotto is way more skilled, but the guy is probably shot, and he never had a great chin....Alvarez has a chance... Martirosyan is terrible but may be a bad style for the Ginger...50-50 Rhodes has a chance if he can take a decent punch(which i doubt) Wolak is horrible, but hey the guy did look powerful vs Foreman...puncher's chance vs the ginger....

Maybe Cotto (depending on Alvarez' performance against Rhodes and Cotto's against Margs if the fight happens) and definitely Angulo.

Alvarez is very young and shouldn't have a title cause he could still improved more on stiffer competition. Now with a title and selecting opponents that complements his style he is going to look like a ducker or a media creation

put him in with a Boxer and just anybody that can give him different looks and throw different things at him and he will be exposed...he is not ready for Mayweather, Pacquiao or Martinez...NOT EVEN CLOSE from that list I think Cintron can beat him...Cintron probably would Knock Him Out, he PROBABLY would be too quick for Angulo though...I don't know about Cotto, I haven't been all the impressed with Cotto at 154 and under Manny Steward to be honest, but I think Cotto would still probably beat him RIGHT NOW though Vanes is another guy that is waiting to be EXPOSED IMO...I give him Chavez Jr and Alvarez as pass though because lets not forget that these guys are still YOUNG, I think it is unfair to start hating these guys just because the MEDIA AND THEIR PROMOTION HYPE THEM UP but all of these guys have MAJOR FLAWS that can and would be exposed by better fighters and GBP as well as Top Rank, they know that, which is why they carefully pick and choose fights for them instead of just throwing them in with the other top fighters in their division
