floyd destroys him the same exact way. I can't stand watching that fight.... it makes me cringe... he pounded gatti...
I watched it once. Broke my heart. I've never watched the last round of his fight with Baldomir or any of the Gomez fight.
And prime Gatti was damned good, except his offense was his only defense.
Gatti has had one of the best careers a boxer can have but even in his prime he would have had a tough time beating Floyd Mayweather Jr. Honestly I don't think even in his prime could he have beat today's version of PBF. Horrible match up for him style wise.
Now prime Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs prime Kostya Tszyu at Junior Welter would have been a great one.
Everyone says that... but when it comes down to it...i want to see you tune to showtime when may vs ortiz fight. Even if gatti was fighting ward you would watch floyd.
Oh, I'll be watching... hoping to see Victor whip his ass!
but he's about as hittable as Arturo, so...
I'd rather watch a Gatti fight 100 times than watch a Mayweather fight once.

Floyd's prime of primes is around the time he fought Gatti and that version of Floyd beats Gatti, Mickey Ward and Mark Wahlberg playing Mickey Ward on the same day.
PRIME VS PRIME...STILL WOULD HAVE BEEN A ONE-SIDED BOXING CLINIC
I remember that fight because Larry Merchant wanted Gatti to win so bad, he was quiet almost that entire BROADCAST LOL
LOL really?
I've only seen the ESPN replay with ESPN commentators.
I would love to see the HBO telecast, though.
Poor Merchant...
I'd rather watch a Gatti fight 100 times than watch a Mayweather fight once.
what if its a Mayweather fight... against Gatti???
i think the world is about to implode
