Couldn't give a **** about the rest
I'm only gonna rank fighters from Junior-lightweight to light-heavyweight:
Junior Lightwight: Ricky Burns
Lightweight: JMM
Light-welter: Amir Kahn
Welter: Pacquiao
Junior Middleweight: Kermit Cintron
Middleweight: Sergio Martinez
Super-Middleweight: Carl Froch
Light-Heavyweight: Bernard Hopkins/ Nathan Cleverly (B-Hop for being a legend, Cleverly for being the next Welsh superstar)
Heavyweight: Tomasz Adamek for all of his exciting fights, legitimate competitive drive, and underrated skillset. Alvin Manley should win this but he's never on ESPN anymore :-(
200: Lateef Kayode for being hilariously cave man like. I came to this conclusion when I noticed he can't land inside punches without pushing the opponent out, steadying them while staring where he's going to punch with his fist cocked back, and then just pounding that area.
175: Tavoris Cloud... Should be my guy but he may as well be classified as semi-retired so Bernard Hopkins for being Bernard Hopkins. The Pascal fight pushups are why I changed my mind.
168: Mikkel Kessler for being a really honest guy that can take a loss. Great skills, great champion.
160: Paul Williams for being so awesome. IDK HOW TO DESCRIBE IT! He's just... Paul Williams.
154: Saul Al-oh wait, Alfredo Angulo because he's back for being a beast and as well I said he would be something as soon as I saw him. Conversely, same card had James Kirkland and I said he was a hypejob that would get KO'd by Angulo. Angulo has massively underrated legit technical skills - he's just slow.
147: Manny Pacquiao for everything there is to like about boxing plus I can talk boxing with people offline because of him.
140: ...Erik Morales, I guess? Feels like cheating to have to rank him here but he's my all time favorite. :-(, I wanted to get to say Marcos Maidana!
135: Michael Katsidis for being the most genuine guy on the planet. He fights with every bit of passion he has and then when the fight is over he's the nicest and coolest guy ever.
130: Jason Litzau for USA USA USA (plus Caballero is a douche). Art Hovin...whatever will totally take this spot soon.
126: Orlando Del Valle for his showing on Shobox. Holy crap, he's amazing!
122: Everybody left this division so I don't care.
118: Vic Darchinyan for being no nonsense. He can knock you out. He is going to try to knock you out. He wants to knock you out. He has to knock you out. Also, he will tell you so.
115 and below: Only care about Giovanni Segura for being a little beast.
Emeritus: Librado Andrade even though I don't know what weight he is at and the luster came off a bit because he got KO'd. Biggest gentleman in the sport. Not judges, but a REFFEREE robbed him blatantly of a world title even though he's underskilled and a bit old and he didn't complain. If I could I would pay him a Pacquiao sized paycheck to fight anyone just so he could have it.

Some of the lower divisions are simply too wide open for me to make a decision. I'll admit, I don't know enough about some of the guys in the weight divisions as well. Namely, Flyweight and Strawweight. Some of my favorites from those divisions are past their primes, so it just doesn't make sense to choose them.
Cristian Mijares is probably past his best, but I still do get a kick out of rooting for the guy. Hopefully, he has one more run left in him.

a good thread like this will fall quickly because a lot of these dudes don't know any fighters besides Mayweather and Pacquiao  :nonono:
Nobody has thrown any insults about May or Pac in this thread. With posts like these, you can start a war between them. A Pactard can reply to this thread saying something about a flomo, and vice versa.
He is a very skilled fighter and I tend to like fighters like Broner.
At this time, he is very green. And his fight with Ponce DeLeon showed that and he really gave that fight away (in terms of making it much easier) and showed his inexperience.
I wouldn't say he deserves heat for that fight but I understand why people haven't warmed to him from that fight because in many spots in the fight he was very inactive and not willing to engage, at all.
But, he has shown moments of sheer class at times. For example, Round 5 of his fight with DeLeon he was phenominal, making him miss, hitting him with sharp counters and was dominating in spectacular fashion and to me, atleast, it was entertaining.
His problem is he needs to fight like he did in Round 5 more often and not be so inactive when he's fighting because it's puts a sour taste on a fighter who I believe has lots of potential. IF he gets the experience.
These are only early signs, I have been let down by fighters like Broner time and time again and it ended up they lacked heart or discipline or things of that nature. But, from the early signs, he looks like he has potential to me and I will be tuning into his fights.
Most people have only seen the DeLeon fight in which he didn't pull his weight to put on a good performance (Other than a few rounds here and there like Round 5 for example) so that's why he's getting alot of heat and rightfully so. It was his first chance to step up to the plate knowing lots of people will be watching to put on a show against a good but smaller opponent.
I don't know if it was me seeing things but I swore I saw Ponce doing his fair share of backing up and refusing to engage while Broner was coming forward. These happened in spots, Ponce kind of just circling around the ring doing nothing, not even setting anything up, while Broner came forward. Broner did his fair share of "running" as well.
IronDan, what is it about Adrien Broner that you like....I havent seen much of him but he seems to have taken a lot of heat......

Heavyweight - ADAMEK!!! Klitschko's (not a huge fan but I have grown to respect what they do and how hard they work and how they never run from a Challenge and THEY DON'T CHERRY PICK!!!), I have nothing against David Haye, he is entertaining
Cruserweight - Steve Cunningham, Lateef Kayode
Light Heavyweight - Chad Dawson, Hopkins, Cleverly (he is only 24 years old he will continue to get better)
Super Middleweight - Andre Ward, Carl Froch, Andre Dirrell, Peter Quillin
Middleweight - Sergio Martinez (of course), Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam (would give Martinez PROBLEMS IMO, also have that slick style like Martinez), PIROG also!
Light Middleweight - ANGULO!!! Paul Williams...but watch out for Fernando Guerrero though, might be the FUTURE of that division!
Welterweight - Tired of Mayweather and Pacquiao (especially their fans) but I respect both and is somewhat a fan of both! But I like the up and coming guys like Brad Solomon and Kell Brook
Light Welterweight - Timothy Bradley, Devon Alexander, Mike Alvarado (if he can stay out of jail, Mike should be up their with Khan, Bradley and all of the other top fighters at 140)...also watch out for Danny "SWIFT" Garcia out of Philly, that dude has a BRUTAL RIGHT HAND!
Lightweight - Roberto Guerrero, JMM, Bam Bam Rios
Super Featherweight - Adrien Broner (he is a A$$HOLE but he is a very talent A$$HOLE especially for a 21 year old fighter...yes he did get a gift against Ponce!)
Featherweight - Gamboa, JuanMa (one loss is just that...ONE LOSS, JuanMa will bounce back in a MAJOR WAY)
Super Bantamweight - Rigondeaux
Bantamweight - Nonito Donaire, Joe Agbeko
