Will Mayweather RE-RE-Retire after Ortiz?

Floyd will continue to do what he always does!!! Floyd fights for checks he will get this easy payday take a great triumphant picture after the fight and sit on the shelf another year and come back for another easy payday thats his whole business strategy.

We know who Mayweather refuses to fight and the kind of opponent he wants to fight so it depends on who's available and if the big guns like HBO and Showtime approve the next opponent he personally picks as suitable. Just like before.

Why would he retire with potential money matchups with Paul Spadafora and Gerry Penalosa out there?

I think he will, and then come back for a late fight in 2012. Against someone not named Manny Pacquiao, Khan maybe. Pac will fight Bradley in May.

Thats why i was worried about the 40 million he was getting, the bills will be paid nicely and he can take another break. Too much money too young. He said hes in it for the money so the warning signs are there he could retire again. But other than that he could fight Pac in 2012 and make another gosh knows how many millions.

'retire', 'over a year long vacation', 'losing the urge to fight' for another yeah and half. all the time he will cancel OST during this break. and who knows what he's taking during that time. lol so much for cleaning up the sport.

Oh course he is going to retire again after the Ortiz fight. He just came back to make some quick cash to pay the IRS and settle the lawsuit he's facing. do you think he will fight again(fight PAC) or retire again and/or wait yet another year to call out another fight? He will retire again the day after Pac beat Marquez but since he was scheduled to fight Ortiz, then after the Ortiz fight. Pac said they should fight after he beat Ortiz but I don't think he could be found anywhere after this and most probably will play possum again until Pac announce his next opponent.:purity:

schaefer already stated that this fight with ortiz is not leading to a pac fight. so we could assume floyd will re-retire after this fight.

I would say its more likely than him carrying on fighting as he will probably be about $50 million dollars better off. He doesnt fight for glory or to be the best, so he will be content to sit on that...I know I would!
