WBA light-welterweight champion Amir Khan has once again decided to defend his title on satelitte pay-per-view channel PrimetimeTV after electing not to build bridges with Sky Box Office following their public spat in the build-up to the 24 year-old’s previous defence against Irishman Paul McCloskey.

Team Khan, has proven once again, how incredibly amateuristic they are. They only think about the short term.
You can say the exact same thing about Sky, when they dropped the Khan-McCloskey PPV.
It's HARDLY a snub as people fail to realise that Skysports don't allow 2 PPV in the same month. Haye-klit is on july 2nd. I am pretty sure after this fight khan will be on skysports again.
For Amir's sake hope you right because he might be frozen out of exposure if he loses. Stakes are getting bigger for him
As much as I don't like that Sky commentator Jim, I gotta admit SKY rapes Primetime, and this coming from a guy who doesn't have to put up with either, only a few occasions. I feel bad for the Brits.
I hope it's got a good undercard with British fighters on it facing American journeymen.
That McCloskey fight had a horrifying one.
Hopefully, we can get two little guys fighting for some kind of world title.
whatever..it will be on free HBO here in North America in HD quality :D ..poor UK boxing fans who gotta pay..or watch a free stream :D
It's not so bad. We aren't the ones who have to pay $50 for a PPV. In the UK it costs half of that.
And of course, plenty of fights that are PPV in the US are "free" in the UK.
:boxing:
LOL Zab actually has a KO chance in this but he's such a turd so I'm a bit doubtful he can pull another Prescott demolition job on Can. Can better be careful though.
The Primetime team are just a bunch of Sky Sports and ITV Sport rejects. Why on earth was Robin Reid chosen as a pundit alongside the Mccloskey nuthugger Steve Collins. At one point the presenter had to constantly tell them to cut down on criticising Amir Khan and it was ridiculous to watch. Thank god I did not pay for that show and I will never pay for a Primetime show.
Amir Khan better start doing his promos in the mosques of England because he is unlikely to get decent exposure and the only reason he was able to pull 50k buyers on Primetime was due to all the promo he got from Ringside and Sky.
In one sense this may be a strong move by Amir but he has yet to establish himself as an elite Sports star and it too Ricky Hatton years of grinding out victories on Sky Sports to then push over to Sky Box Office. I will be very surprised if there are 50k buys against Zab.
