Hey guys I am excited about the Ortiz vs. Mayweather fight. I think Ortiz has a realistic puncher's chance in it. With the right game plan he could pull off the upset. He just has to be ready to eat a lot of right hands. Anyways I believe Floyd wins the fight.
My question is what would you guys think of a fight with Cotto @ 154 in current form. I think that would be a great fight. What would be the outcome?
Didn't they take Margarito's gloves off in the ring? Where was the plaster? I'm no fan of Margarito but there was no plaster there and Cotto quit. Plain and simple.:boxing:
How many fights Plastermaster has won after he got caught with plaster. When I say fights, I mean real fights, not counting the one with the Mex cab drivers. I'll wait. Yeah, Marg didn't use plaster against Cotto but did try to use it against grandpa Mosley. If you believe that, there is nothing else that can be told, just common sense.

This excuse cracks me up each time, they took his gloves off so there is no way he could have cheated. For christ sake just watch the fight, not once did Margarito "open" his glove because he COULDN'T not once in the fight did that happen. Go watch watch him vs Manny he was flexing his hands from the first round, it gives you a break as a fight to stretch out your fingers. Its quite obvious on here who has laced up a pair of gloves, forget about even stepping in the ring. Secondly, the fact that he couldn't open his hands AFTER the gloves were off is even more proof, just because he "took them off" doesn't mean sh*t. If there was plaster in there, as Nazim found out they covered it up with gauze and tape, idiot.
He gets pretty much zero credit for that win from certain people, yes.
"He was weight drained", because he came in one pound lighter then his last fight.
"He was beyond shot", even though he was still on the top10 p4p-list just a couple of weeks ago
etc etc
Opinions are like a$$ holes and your stinks!!!!!!!
Is this a joke? Victor Ortiz would make Cotto take a knee in the first round! Arum knows Puerto Ricans love boxing thats why he made Cotto. Thats all Cotto is, a hand made , overrated, hyped, and over glorified bum.:boxing:
You kno nothing about boxing... step your game up
WTF? Hope you are joking. Cotto got pummeled with plaster for 11 rounds and won the first six rounds of that fight. Anyone who claims that plaster master was not using against Cotto is delusional or just plain stupid.

You know he quit, stop trying to change that. If he wanted to continue fighting then he would gotten up and said yes I'm okay, I wan't to fight, but he didn't. He wanted his corner to stop the fight. Thats why even though got up, he acted all defeated and said nothing. Thats why he was looking at his corner like that, cause he wanted them stop the fight. He wanted it to look like he was a warrior but it didn't work. We all know he quit.

How anyone can pick Ortiz over Cotto with a straight face baffles me.
Must be a casual fan.
I’m no casual fan but anyone who thinks Cotto would have an easy time with Ortiz is deluded.
Has Cotto been hurt by lesser punchers than Ortiz? Yes
Is Cotto past his prime? Yes
Does Ortiz have the skill set power and speed to cause Cotto a hell of a lot of problems? Most defiantly.
ooh, a little cut... Ortiz's whole face was swollen at the post conference.
How do you know I'm Mexican? Anyways, I wasn't being biased. You said Cotto wasn't a quitter and I was just reminding you that he is a quitter. He quit against Margarito like a 21 year old Ortiz quit against Maidana. No bias here, bro.:D
Have a nice day.:la:

Ortiz stands a great shot in this fight, I voted for him Cotto is not at his best anymore and hasn’t been since the fight with Marg that is evident. Clottey gave Cotto all he could handle.
I’m one of the people that gave Ortiz a huge amount of sh!t when he quit against Maidana but sometimes young fighters need a loss to grow stronger (Khan) I believe that to be the case with Ortiz and the Berto fight confirmed it for me.
People who think Cotto could just walk Ortiz down are deluding themselves. Ortiz beats Cotto in a great fight (147).
This. ^^^ Green k, sir!:boxing:
