Its obvious that Shane's career has been on a massive downslide since his awesome destruction of Marg back in Jan 2009. Makes me wonder if he shouldn't have quit boxing on a high note.
So how about it? What if Shane had decided to call it a day immediately after that Margarito fight? His embarrassments against Pac and Mayweather would forever be erased and he wouldn't have soiled himself with that draw with Mora.
Would we be referring to Mosley as a true ATG if he had only retired two years before?

The losses don't hurt him because of where he was in his career and who they were too. I think his defeats to Forrest and Wright damage him more than his losses to PBF and Pac. It would have been great if he retired after Margarito, but given the mire he was in prior to that, Margarito was a comeback, not a cash out. His divorce prevented him from walking at that point, assuming he even wanted to. He messed up by not fighting for so long afterward though.
