Speaking as a fan of Floyd..... I hope this story is true.... and of so... I hope Pac takes the fight.
This would be very exciting for the sport!

Rubbish. Cheap publicity.
dunno about that. martinez was just in a fight with martin murray that could have gone either way. i think martinez is on the decline now. but martinez vs canelo sounds like a good fight to me.
personally i'd rather see golovkin get a shot to beat that metrosexual...
Nah Sergio would beat Canelo, easy work, bigger better skilled man with more power, skill, speed and footwork..has has almost every advantage of Canelo.
Pac on the otherhand would probably be Ko'd very shortly after the fight starts.

Nor would Sergio Martinez, he'd get knocked out before he knew it imagine getting battered by Martin Murray the guy isn't even renowned for being a big puncher.

Pacquiao will never go anywhere near Canelo, trust me!

if pac accepts this dirty money without giving at least half to charity purposes, i'd be extremely disappointed. but i think it won't happen anyway.
Money's money...
If he accepts to fight in Mexico why shouldn't he have the right to spend the money the way he wants?
Nobody tells Mayweather how to spend his cash and he's the one beating up woman and spending time in jail!
Besides Pacquiao has helped out the Pinoy people bit by bit as much as he could.
even in the highly unlikely event this kinda money was still there for this fight (if it ever was), you can't spend money when you're fucking dead, so no way in hell this ever happens
You guys are crazy if you think Pacquiao or Arum would ever sign to fight Canelo, way to dangerous of a fight for Pac.
Pac will take the cherrypick of Alvarado or Rios.
this is getting interesting. i wonder who else is involved in this 65 million dollar game. first some singaporeans offer 65 for pac-floyd. now slim doin the same for pac alvarez. whos next in line? apparently some people are rushing to secure a pac fight for the next year. not likely they would turn down marquez are they??
I don't know whether he is a crook or not, but if he is, he must be one smart fuckin' crook to get to be the richest person in the world. It's like a boxing fight, yo do whatever you gotta do to win, same with money, whatever makes you money. Can't hate on the man for being a billion spots higher then you in the wealth rankings.
Lets put it this way, 95% of telephone lines in Mexico are owned by him. Mexico pays the most $$$ out of any country for phone service, he owns ALL communications in Mexico. Think about that, 1 person who controls all communication of a country.
He pays hundreds of millions in fines a year. He has a long history of shady dealings. Especially in a country like Mexico, you dont become the worlds richest man in Mexico doing stuff the legit way.
He is the boss of bosses. Do some research into him.
Alavarez? I guess that's understandable since he's probably Mexico's most popular fighter but he's still green. Fighting Pacquiao at this stage is going to ruin him in the same fashion Fernando was ruined by Tito, if not worse. Alvarez is like 10 years away from being ready for the likes of Pacquiao, and even that may not even be enough.
No one is turning down $65 million. If this is true Pacquiao is/should accept this. It would be the largest purse ever in boxing history topping DLH's 50 mil against PBF.

3 Crooks.
I wonder if this backs up the story about the $65 mil offer from Singapore, would make sense. Slim probably went to Pac's people offering a fight and they countered that Singapore just offered $65 mil and for them to consider it, Slim would have to match it. Would be a hell of a coincidence if both parties randomly, independently offered the same crazy amount.
