Roy weighed in at 169 pounds for the fight with Trinidad in 2008 which was just 1 pound over the super middleweight limit and looked strong in that fight with Tito. How would he do if he was in the Super Six?
Roy would probably be one of the stronger fighters at the weight so the style he used against Tito might work against smaller 168 pounders.
He cant use that style of coming forward with his gloves held high against bigger fighters at 175 and 190 but against 168 pounders he would be the naturally bigger man.
Roy only looked good in that fight because he was fighting a mutually shot fighter who happened to be smaller than him. 2008 Roy doesn't do any damage in the super 6. He could have beaten Green, but that's all.
its not about who hits hard or not. alot of shots roy is koed with he dont see comming beause he either turns or ducks away not looking at the punch. knockouts arent always about who hit harder or what its about the right punch at the right time.
Calzaghe and Hopkins couldn't KO Roy and they are better than everyone in the Super Six. The fights at cruserweight were against much bigger fighters.
Denis Lebedev hits much harder than Andre Ward or Carl Froch.
I think he loses UD to Ward and Froch, but not as convincing as the loss to Calzaghe. I think 2008 Roy in my opinion would have his moments against Ward who isnt as active as Calzaghe, doesnt have the same speed.
Joe Cal was feather fisted. Only KO in his last 5 years was a BS stoppage against Manfredo.
Hopkins hasn't KO'd anybody in years(2004)
everything after tarver 2 is just hit n miss with roy. but the roy who fought lacy trinidad sheika if he can actually let his hands go and perform like that he do good. always wanted to see a rematch with johnson. but its hard to predict anything with roy jones after tarver II.

So you think the fighters in the Super Six hit harder than denis lebedev and Danny Green who are cruserweights
I think they hit way harder than a fat Tito Trinidad at 170.
I also think there all on another level than Shieka and Lacy.
Roy could barely make the weight and he would have to make 168 multiple times at a very late stage of his career.
I think Froch, Kessler, Dirrell and Glen Johnson(Of course) could KO him.
He could probably beat AA but would have to be careful.
Ward can't punch(Wards wins)
Allan Green is garbage.
Jermain has a punchers chance, but probably loses as well.
