My list is actually missing someone I think. But anyway on Johnson. Hes rated greater than where I had him actually. I can put him there soley on the fight with Jim Jefferies. Or on the fact that the was the first African American Heavyweight Champ. And not to mention how much hatred he dealt with and overcame. The Great White hope he went on, etc.
And I biased towards heavyweights. Which would explain Ali and Louis. 1 and 2.
I'm a fan of Jack Johnson as much as anyone. But I really can't see how he can be ranked that highly.
Resume wise I have him in my Top 5 Heavyweights but his Title reign is quite average.
Surely we must consider that Jeffries was coming off a 6 year lay off and weighing in all time high against Johnson? I mean, It's a good win. But I can't see how a that win perpels him to a ranking higher than the like of Pernell Whitaker.
In the case of the hatred point then surely you should have Langford higher than you do, No?
I mean I disagree with your high rankings of Ali and Louis quite whole heartedly but can understand it. Johnson? I can't.
Good list overall but I'm curious to know on what basis you have Jack Johnson ranked ahead of Pernell Whitaker.
That I really struggle to see a case for.

I don't know if you saw my list but Ali was just about Top 15 in mine.
Obviously I'm only using the names Larry allocated so others would be there also. Mclarnin, Canzoneri etc etc etc
So Ali will most like be even lower on my list. I have him minimum Top 20 though and definitely a case for Top 15 but not Top 10 IMO.
Which again shows how insanely vast the history of this sport is. Something new fans need to quickly understand. That Muhammad Ali, can be considered that low on an ATG list.
He CAN be considered low but I wont dissagree with a list that has him Top 3.
1. Ali
2. Louis

I think Ali is in the lower top 10.
SRR, Greb and Langford all 3 have a case to being the GOAT. I don't think nobody else has a case.
Followed by Armstrong.
Than I would put B. Leonard, Pep, and Ross also are greater than Ali.
I think Ali is the greatest HW though followed by Louis of course.

So Ali will most likely be even lower on my list but obviuously if I were to devise one I would put alot more thought into it. I have him minimum Top 20 though and definitely a case for Top 15 but not Top 10 IMO.

I rate Ali on the same level as the top 3 boxing gods, his resume ticks all the boxes for me, its pure quality, JMO though.
I put Charles above the bolded.

LOL I'm actually a fan myself, but Hagler > Monzon.
Here, here Monzon fan.
I've seen it all, I know everything about Frazier but I still love the guy.

That was insanely difficult and would change at the tip of a hat.
Red K given....LOL
Good list, but putting jones that high...really? above Hagler, Monzon and Holyfield
As it stands yes, but I won't try to argue too hard, I only put it together within about 10 minutes and I haven't really had time to think about it thoroughly.
