Fighters like Duran and Leonard would also be smart enough to not go on record as saying they feel a guy 8 lbs heavier (Bute, Ward) are "too big" for him, then go on the record talking about how they KO a guy 20 lb's lighter, like Pacquiao. I like Martinez but that made him look like the hypocrite of the year. He went on record as saying he won't fight any of the Super Middle's because he'd be giving up too much, then goes and challenges both Manny AND Floyd. He's a lot bigger than Manny, but he's bigger than Floyd, too. Breadman on ********** said it best, Martinez chose to add that bulk he now doesn't think he can cut to get back down to 154, but now he's stranded at 160 without any $ fights. But yeah, long story short, if Martinez feels justified in saying Bute & Ward are "too big" for him, than Manny is "too small" for him. It goes both ways.

How about you answer this; Against Their opponents at 154 and 160 did any of those guys look phyisically bigger than Hearns and Leonard? I wasnt alive to see those bouts, but from watching the videos of those bouts, not one time did I think "d@mn Ray or Tommy are giving up alot of size/weight to their opponents" even when they were fighting at MW. Again their is no way to officially prove this but just going off the eyeball test and comparing how huge they are in comparison to current WW's its quite possible that they would. What are you talking about? Duran fought at his fight night weight, which was 135 lbs. How can you be a massive lightweight when come fight night you walk into the ring at 135lbs? If he was fighting with the weigh ins pushed forward 24 hours dude could of been a Super bantamweight.
