I said several times that neither man should fight him, but me saying that is me holding out hope that the fight is gonna get made which it won't be. So Floyd steps up and fights the guy Manny's fans, his promoter and his sportswriters are protecting Manny from.
Better than Ortiz, Bradley won't fight anybody & Cotto at this point is useless
so that don't leave a whole lot...Fight Sergio go all in.
Like I've said before, Floyd fighting Martinez win or lose would destroy all the ducking allegations against him. If he wins, he doesn't have to fight Pacquiao and his legacy is sealed.
One fight to rule them all.
:usa:
it would indeed be an interesting fight. pity though.
just like the Lord of the Rings, ITS A FANTASY STORY.

Floyd ducked Cotto, Margarito and Pac at welterweight. Now you want Floyd to fight Martinez at light middleweight?
floyd won't fight sergio 4 the same reason pac won't fight sergio which is the same reason sergio won't fight b-hop.
duuuuuuuuuuuuuh.
that is an excellent assessment of the situation right now.
Floyd can't even mention Sergio's name in his stuttering voice.
How many of those useless fighthype videos did you hear KFC mention Sergio Martinez name and his willingness to fight him? :lol1:
I honestly think he is too big for both, but if Manny & Floyd don't fight why fight Ortiz, just go for Sergio. He may very well be KO'd or lose but if he were to pull out some tricks and turn it into a brutal chess match he may be able to do it.
I thought so as well, but for Floyd this will put him in a really big fight that will be very risky and be able to add on to his legacy with or without the Manny fight.

in spite of the obvious size difference, i'd rather it be Pac who gets a shot at sergio first.... at 154.
heck yeah its risky and Pac has a big chance of actually getting seriously hurt. BUT.
Pac changed his mind several times already on who he would face, and i'm hoping that he'd challenge Sergio.
