I believe that Pacquiao supporters should be given a pass no matter how stupid or wacky their support for Pacquiao is. Before Pacquiao came along Asians of most nationalities have had no athletic heroes to root unless you count gymnastics or table tennis. I say let them revel in their support of Pacquiao because after him it will probably be another 2011 years before another Asian like him comes along.
