Hopkins vs Ward?

If Ward is legit, he should win this fight. He's at least as good as Jermain Taylor and Hopkins isn't as good as he was when he fought Taylor, at least I don't think he is. Ward would probably get a lead and hang on to it.

Ward and i think Easy ....What hopkins just did was outstanding, but ward fights very skilled, very fast and very smart...everything Pascal Wasnt (fast but out of control), Pascal was just Young and wild , Pascal isnt a overall skilled boxer and thats why he struggled both times so much with Hopkins because he couldnt box with him.. And Ward is a 12 Round Fighter another Issue Hopkins would have with him, Pascal is a 4 or 5 Round fighter and flames out and Hopkins took advantage of that, thats a Huge advantage and there would be none of that against Ward. Ward would be a very bad matchup for hopkins...hurts for me to say that because Hopkins is one of my Favorite Boxers but no way would he have a shot against ward in my opinion.

This is a great mma fight, expect alot of armbars, and wrestling.

At what weight? 168, Ward. 175, Hopkins unless Ward has a few fights at that weight first and proves he belongs as a Light Heavy. Didnt Ward win the gold at light heavyweight? I know its a whole other ball game with Hopkins tho..

Sorry to get off track there a little with the Froch tirade. I think Ward beats Hopkins by SD. No way Hopkins makes it that close. Ward isnt gonna fall for that overhand right that dumbass Taylor, Pavlik and Pascal did.. All 3 of those dudes have low boxing IQs and NO DEFENSE.. Once Ward sees it one or two, Hops wont land it again.. Wards too quick and physically gifted for Hops at this stage. Throw in a awesome jab and Hopkins has no chance but to lose a clear decision. I dont see Hops winning more than 3 rounds.. Ward gets stronger during fights, not weaker

Froch gets whooped by Hopkins easy. Dawson would be a tough fight but Bernard would rough him up and win. Ward is my opinion is Hopkins hardest fight to win by decision. I don't think Froch gets WHOOPED by Hopkins but I absolutely think Hopkins wins that fight by UD. If it wasn't for Hopkins starting so damn slow like BushBaby mentioned then I don't think it would be particularly close. I don't know man for some reason I am having a really hard time getting on this Carl Froch train. I'm not sure if it's just the style that he fights or that I haven't been really impressed with any of his wins, but I'm just not sold yet. I do give the guy credit though he has absolutely taken care of business when he's needed to. The Pascal victory would've been much more impressive for me if it was not in Nottingham. I think Andrew Ward is going to take him to school if he gets past Glenn Johnson and I think he's in for hell against Johnson so who knows. I think Ward beats Hopkins by SD simply because I think Ward banks 3-5 early rounds and has enough stamina/youth/ring IQ to hold on in the end. I think Hopkins beats Dawson by a close decision in a very competitive and tough to score fight.

Hopkins has been headbutting far longer than Ward I think he could get a massively one-sided split decision.

Hopkins lose a decision to Ward and Froch. Those 2 guys fight 12 rounds and are mentally tough. Dawson takes rounds off, a mental midget and fades later in fights. Thats Hopkins best chance
