Not only did he not credit Hopkins for two very clear knockdowns resulting from picture perfect right hands, but he also allowed Pascal to hit behind the head for 12 rounds, which is very dangerous and hazardous to a boxers health.

Did you notice how Kellerman blamed Bernard for all the rough tactics in the fight? He only commented on one butt from Pascal in the 10th or 11th.
Too me, it was very clear that Pascal was the one who rubbed his head on B-Hop in most clinches. And that "deliberate thumb in the eye" comment from Max was just lame. Ever worn a boxing glove? It's not easy to target one's eye deliberately with the thumb. It was clearly unintentional and certainly didn't have anything to do with Pascal's loss. Hopkins beat his ass, fair and square.
I'm not saying B-Hop didn't use rough tactics. I'm just saying that Pascal had his full share too.

The ref had no authority in that fight.Pascal continued holding even after being told to let go
Only problem I had was he didn't count the knock downs. Other then that he was letting them fight(dirty at that).
Oh and pascal was holding but Bernard a few times made it look like it was pascal that wouldnt let go when it was actually him.

yep that guy sucked balls.
Reading this afew of the referees were bad last night... The ref for the Groves DeGale fight should've deducted DeGale a point for a shoulder and two elbows during the fight.. And the referee in the Lebedev Jones fight should've stopped the fight to prevent unnecessary injury to Jones rather than standing next to him.. Get in there and wave it off man! We don't want boxers seriously hurt!
Honestly, I thought the ref did a fine job outside of the two technically should-have-been knockdowns. He let them both fight inside, and sure let them both fight a bit dirty. BUT if he had constantly broken them up early and deducted points we'd complain that he didn't let them fight. He let them fight until neither had a hand free and then got them loose quick. I didn't think it was too bad. He was consistent.
Really? BHOPS game plan was to Clinch/Hold as Naazim said in the corner. BHOP is the dirtiest fighter ever and he STARTED with the HOLDING/EYE POKE/KIDNEY SHOTS. WTF? Pot calling the kettle black.
Pascal did a **** load of clinching, and wouldn't let go.

The ref was terrible and hearing his whiny voice constantly made him even more annoying.
