hopkins is a true role model..he lost fights but he came back stronger..99% of fighters today can't deal with a loss..shows us how mentally strong b hop really is.
Roy is STILL a legend...I want him and B.Hop to go in the HOF together...that would be dope...the rivals are really good friends who RESPECT one another to the fullest....and just for the record...Roy would've whipped that russian dude's ass in style in his prime....:boxing:
Everything was a classic tonight coming from BHop.
His intro music was just hilarious. And pushups before the 7th was just an exclamation point.
Pascal tried to keep up with the mental game, but you can't compete with the king of mind games.
In 1993, If someone told me that 18 years later there will be pictures of Roy Jones being out cold on the canvass face first and Bernard Hopkins would be doing press ups between rounds on his way to beating the #1 Ranked guy at LHW I would have laughed myself to death.
It's a strange type of sad poetic justice that Hopkins makes history on the same night boxing retires Roy.
The beauty and brutality of boxing.
That was cold...lol
I used to dislike Roy but he's a HOFer...I hope they take his license away...its just getting embarassing and he shouldn't be putting his family through it either...
